I think we should be aloud to have sex at what ever age we are. I am 14 and would love to have sex with a guy just ask me and i'll prob say yes.

i think we need to face the fact as a society that kids are having sex at a younger age these days. i am in no way encouraging this since i myself have a 8 year old daughter, but i will not be nieve to the fact she has already begun to learn about sex in the movies we allow our kids to watch. i know she hasnt grasped the idea of what it is, but she certainly has been exposed to some elements of it. kids these days know so much. she picks it up at school, and on tv. rather than bury my head in the sand, i will find a way to talk to her about it without embarrassing her. i think if you educate your kids properly about sex they will approach it more responsibly than other kids that were not taught well. im just guessing, but, the kids that did the video taping, im willing to bet that the parents arent very in tune with the kids they are raising.

Well, emotionally our maturity lags a bit behind our bodies. I was pretty much full grown by high school, but I didn't really grow up till I enlisted (and it wasn't until college that I fully appreciated just how not-grown-up I was when I was younger).

I think a lot of young people don't really appreciate what a big deal sex is, long after they've got the fully working parts for it. Personally, I think they should be free to make their own mistakes once they've had basic sex ed, so they can be safe on a basic level, but the parents and other responsible adults should still be trying to give them guidance. After all, when you graduate your old enough to decide what to do for yourself, but your parents and teachers should still offer their wisdom, and point you away from the biggest pitfalls, right?
