News in LA yesterday is we are bringing KZLA back... Dees dumped... Never been so happy to hear this news. So while we were without KZLA, I heard a new artist named Danny Griego... with his song Wal-Mart Girls. AWESOME... look for it.

I agree wholeheartedly that I want my country music station back!! I am so saddened by the flip of the format to hip-hop. How can that be more profitable? Go figure. I have listened to Movin 93.9 only for brief periods of time because I still have 93.9 programmed in my car, but I can't leave it on for more than a few seconds and every time I think about what replaced KZLA, it makes me really really really sad that we are one of the biggest cities in the United States and we don't deserve a country radio station that is truly America's music!!

We have 2 or more Country Stations in San Diego and they took our Oldies. WE HAVE NO OLDIES IN SAN DIEGO. 540 AM was our Oldies station. Why did they turn it into Country--we have 2 or more here? We need an oldies station.

I'm still starving for country music and the AM stations are not cutting it. Why is country always the genre overlooked as something viable?
Insane. I'm sad about losing KZLA today but Pandora.com is playing some good country. I'm making do but it's difficult. Glad to know I'm not the only one.

I know what you mean. My only recourse is CDs or Jack FM which actually doesn't talk too much like the other stations. So sad.

We need more local club support, giving band a venue to play. Not the interest as in years ago.

Yes we need more support for real country music. The pop stuff just don't get it.

Daily Horoscope for June 1

Capricorn

Someone you care about could easily lose the plot today, which will lead to all sorts of ructions. Be patient - they aren't thinking logically or rationally, and are easily influenced by their emotions. Take care if you start to take on their persona, because it will be very tiring and drain you of energy. You'll also find that you keep chopping and changing your mind at the drop of a hat, which will mean others get quite impatient with you.
