Inmate's TV privileges withheld

The people in this thread calling for harsher treatment of prisoners have never been one.

let me tell you something. i had a long career in a KY prison (eddyville)
the men have it made. they do nothing but start trouble, have attitude issues & sit around thinking of ways to dupe women. the majority of them commit a fresh crime within months of being released. after 30 years of service, i say keep em all in. much better for those of us on the outside.

so you were a guard not an inmate,well believe me its no fun i agree that some belong there no questioning that.but everyone ever convicted of a crime isnt a criminal,they just got caught breaking the law.plus your a felon till the day you die.30 years hu well i bet you wouldnt be on here saying that if you pulled just 15 of that.what are you suppose to do 24 hours the day locked up in a cell with other people and told when to sleep eat an shower.not to mention while your in prison you lose that bond with your children family wife an friends.no money no nice clothes no job no respect just set around an fill worthless 24 hrs a day.after a while you begin to hate others fill abandoned and just wanna hurt people or break more laws because whats the worse they can do to you. this is hell i cant fall no farther or it get no lower.and its so easy to say well if you didnt break the law you wouldnt be here so deal with it.let me tell you something its easy to judge but until youve walked that road and been there youll never understand how it affects you inside.

if you worked there 30 yrs i bet you broke the law many many times just think if you would have got busted sneaking in contraband to those inmates you would have became one yourself pricks like you is the reason you hear about prison riots i like how the guards act all big and bad when there at work with all there co workers but when an inmate gets out and runs across one of the guards on the outside without all his buddys around the guard then either starts sucking up to them or try to avoid them

Here's some advice...don't "break the Law" and you will not have to pull that 15.

Listen up: Who cares if the men at EKCC have poor housing conditions, unsavory meals & hosts of other complaints. Society is so much better without these losers living in our world.
Like another poster said, all the men do is think of ways to take advantage of women, get spending money, visits, phone calls and what ever else they need done. And, Kentucky is filled with ugly women that can't get a man on the outside. It is a game between the inmates to see how many women they can get to write to them. Check the sites. Then look up inmates on KOOL, match the names. There is not one inmate at EKCC that is not involved in this scheme. But, hey, if a woman is so ugly & so needy she has to visit a stranger behind bars, so be it.

Read the back pages of tabloid mags sometime and look at all the ads. Also, I was a CO as well. They used www.angelswithbrokenwings.com ridiculous.

Suicide Johhny, you are exactly right, as is the poster you reply to.

Women need to realize, befriending an inmate is the absolute stupiests thing any female can ever do.
As a former CO, I can't tell you how many times all of us (COs) would laugh at the women that would come to visit, develop relationships with men that had absolutely NOTHING to offer. The men reaped the rewards, the women felt as if they were in a relationship, they would send money, rearrange their schedules to be available for lengthy phone sessions. The inmates would talk as if a husband away on a business trip. The inmates spend hours talking & laughing at what they are able to get from different women. Some of the ugliest women I have ever seen would send pictures to inmates. The inmates roar at mail call when they open their pictures. Then they get on the phone & tell the homely woman how beautiful she is & more money comes rolling in. On visiting day, the visitation room is filled with some of the ugliest, dumbest women our state has to offer. Some drive for hours to visit a loser. The women are incapable of forming a relationship on the outside. No one in the free world would want them. The prison should disallow women from visiting, for their own sake.

sometimes a man makes a mistake. i stand behind my husband and will wait for him to come home to me.
