Yeah...it's all confusing now since Indiana changed its laws. They're always on EST now except the northwest region of the state which is on CST (same as Chicago).

ANYhow, I forgot just how close San Jose is to Monterey. A vacation sounds really good right now! Not like I really do much work while I'm at work or anything, just don't have enough to do at this time.*shrug*

I don't even care so much about a long vacation,i love the ones that involve racing and or camping and fishing and hiking! Kayaking or something active.Not much for the Canbana boy thing on the beach,would rather make my own drink and cook for everyone and have a picnic.I kinda tend to like to own the kitchen and not want help.lol

nzkiwi, is that carmel of dirty harry fame. Or was clint mayor of another carmel? Do they play rugby league over there? nz warriors on a roll.Rugby union fan but rules need a revamp- "if it aint broke dont fix it".

You're welcome,im from here and have met him many times.He is a really nice man and i sopt him in Pebble Beach and Carmel all the time.He never really get's bothered here,it's kinda out of respect.I met him long ago for the very first time back in the late 80's at Gold Gym in Venice,Ca.We were the first people in the gym at 5am sharp every morning and he would always say Hi and ask me if i opened the place since i was already on the treadmil for my warm up.Well a few days later he must have tried hard to beat me to it and was there first stretching and said "Where have you been?" lol.He has the best personality!

I love to surf kayak. I'm in the wrong state for that one!

As far as Rugby - Warriors are ok, but I'm ALL about the NZ All Blacks! Just had a champ of a year this year with the cup!

Well ,i Kayak in Monterey Bay alot and one time i had my foot in the water to cool off,as i had been going for hours in that thing,lol.Well a Dolphin just jumped up right next to me,scared the livin daylight's out of me,but after the shock i was like"COOL" well many other people all came over to me and said that the same thing happened to them.Usually Dolphins stay in large groups,but we asked the marine biologist later by the pier and they said sometimes a Male Dolphin will seperate and flirt with humans and in trying to circle his territory as the Dominate male.He was not aggressive,but very playful and it was so neat,we all gathered together that day for lunch on Cannery Row after that.I could have reached out and touched it that dolphin was that close.Anyway,it's fun to just look at the kelp beds with only a little swell on a calm day without too many boats it's nice and calm.

How's NZ?

Heres hoping he can reduce the deficit. Qualifying speed not so good, but not always an indication of race set-up. Strategy and luck crucial as usual, especially with a track that can handle -three/four wide.
NZ is cold, wet and windy, but still as beautiful as ever-my god the sun is out today-a good omen. Catch you later, gonna catch some rays while I can kia kaha scotty boy
