Champ Car's Tracy looks for IRL ride

Paul, you are an excellent driver. Why not do what Mike Andretti did? Find a partner and pass your knowledge on to some one new. I hear owners make good money too.

All of you seem to forget that Paul stayed in Champ Car and didn't take a ride in Nascar to help open wheel racing in America. He has awesome talent and deserves to "retire" in style. You must not have known he couldn't cut it in Nascar and was there, OMG watch a race!

The bottome line is that it could have very well been the IRL in ChampCars position. This sport like F1 is all about getting sponsors and money there week in and week out. So, for all you Paul Tracy haters the bottome line is he will bring lots of fans and sponsors to every race. I think he can still run top five in the IRL especially with the right team and if the IRL continues in the coming years to add more street and permanent road courses to the schedule. Lets not be haters....lets just try to get the field to 28 or 29 drivers like it was in the early and mid 90's!!!!!!

And by the way....PT used to kick the crap out of people like Tony K, Helio, and all the others on a weekly bases before they jumped ship to the IRL. What makes you think he can't still kick their butts?!! We Need Paul Tracy!!! He is one of the best drivers in the world. Stats don't lie!!

here we go for another crappy irl race when is tony george going to stop giving subsidies to the teams. why doesnt he give it back to USAC and buy a nascar team. thank goodness there is monaco and the coke 600 this weekend. fyi; the last properly sanctioned indy 500 was won by j.villenueve in '95. paul tracy was there too

Facts, he draws crowds, puts fans in seats and gives 100% but then what would you guys know about that, and he makes promoters and owners MONEY, which by the way is why we have moto racing, not to provide fodder for arm chair goofs!
So go ahead and denigrate Tracy, while your at it dis Petty, AJ and Mario all who crashed a lot, all who where outspoken and like Tracy won lots of races and while doing so provided a great deal of excitement and fans!
Love him or hate him I'd rather have diner with Tracy than George Bush!
