Maybe it's time for Paul Tracy to hang up his helmet. There a plenty of younger drivers who deserve a driver. He's had his chance. Simon

IT IS Sad to see Scott Speed career stoop the level of ARCA and NasTruck.
Hey Paul Tracy, Beggers can't be choosers (My mom and many others have said this, but why hasn't Paul's mom told him that nugget ??)
, especially with less than 1 Month before the 1st race !
just bite the bullet and take a seat @ Coyne or Conquest or Walker racing.
if you don't go beg for a ride in Sports Cars.
PT,did the bleaching of your hair go thru to your brain ??

He's begging for a ride but won't take less than 1 million a year! Jeesh!!! What arrogance! If he were that great, they'd be banging down his door! Go ahead Paul, sit this one out! There's always the Taxicabs! lol

Why settle for only 20 races. Lets do 24 or 25 and make sure we get all the good tracks back on the schedule.

The saddest thing about an athlete is when no one close to them will tap them on the shoulder and let them know they're well past their prime. I always liked PT, but it's almost comical that he still thinks he's one of the best oval drivers (his words) in the sport, or that he's such a comodity as to demand $1 mil and a seat with Ganassi or Penske. Given his situation, I don't think he realizes how good of an opportunity a seat at Vision would be for him. Well PT, you'll be 40 this year. Open-wheel in this day and age is a young person's sport. Ride off into the sunset former champ!

I think that hamburgers and hotdogs are more that pt is worth after all who needs all of the crashes that he will produce.

Yeah, PT is way overvaluing himself. Vision was able to put Scheckter on the podium a couple years ago. Their cars were often just off the lead pack last season, even with AJ IV and Ed Carpenter driving. One would think with another year they'll be closer. If Tracy's as good as he thinks he is, he'd be able to pull off a victory in a Vision car. He doesn't merit a ride with Penske or Ganassi.

That's the ticket Paul, act like an arrogant jerk, sponsors and owners love that. What a clown, good riddance.

We can live without Tracy. He's getting long in tooth, and he made such a fuss when he blew his chance for a win at Indy the last time. In fact, I believe he said he'd never race at Indy again. Maybe he can get his Penske job back and be a parts go-for?

I'll never forget being at Homestead-Miami Speedway several years ago for an open-wheel race and watching PT turn and walk away from a little boy wanting his autograph. The kid was probably 6 or 7 years old. Tracy didn't even have the courtesy to say "sorry, not now".

If felt sorry for him until reading this. Foyt and Carpenter did fine in those cars last year. If he's as good as he thinks he is, he could win races with that team. Have fun in the truck series, don't let the door hit you in the chasis on the way out.

After all the recent interviews and press conferences, it's interesting to see the normally tight-lipped Tony George giving all this information to Curt about PT and Alex Lloyd, etc. TG usually only comments if something is 100% confirmed. Just my $0.02.

I'd hate to see PT get a ride that rightfully would belong to Milka or Marty Roth

When Paul Tracy was with team Green he once said "I really don't like Indianapolis, the only thing I want to do there is race and leave". Well now ole PT has informed us he won't race for "Hot Dogs and Hamburgers" I wonder if Mr.Tracy has ever stopped and considered the fact that Indianapolis doesn't really like him and if he doesn't watch his considerable mouth, the only thing he might be racing for is a well deserved crow sandwich!

Maybe Tracy should go and ask A.J. Foyt for a ride. Then he sure would get his ass kicked out if the garage by A.J.

"(Oval racing) is pretty dangerous, and I'm not going to drive for hamburgers and hot dogs," Tracy said.
What a wussy, I hope he never steps foot in Indiana ever again. I'm pretty easy going, but for some reason I've never really liked this guy from the start. Let someone who will appreciate the ride get it!
