Grand Prix, what Grand Prix, guess I missed it. Headed to San Diego soon after the practice runs started Sat. AM and arrived back just after the final race today. So unlike Heidi, I have nothing to bitch about nor have an opinion pro or con. Though I'm guessing 170K people coming into DT LB, might of had a positive effect on the local economy.

Warning: GAY PRIDE is next up, and yes, unlike the Prix, Pride is ALL ABOUT pissing off everyone who lives anywhere close to Ocean Blvd. that Sunday. And why? Why not?

Yeah, along with the money that the Grand Prix brought into town much of it is going to go to clean up the massive amounts of trash left by the people who came into our city. I just took a walk along Bluff Park and each trash can was overflowing with crap. Let's hope that we don't have high winds tonight...

Thank you for your blatantly homophobic reply.

I'm sure the Westboro Baptist Church will have a spot for you when they come and preach their hate and ignorance come next month...

Yawn, dont be a hater! Long Beach has major events year round and all of these events support our local economy unlike your LA County where everyone is getting pink splips. As for Heidi, you definitely live in the wrong place lady if you dont like big crowds and special events. Maybe you should consider moving with Dawn to LA's bitter row?

Even the $9.75 beers and $8 hot dogs didn't dampen the fun ... why don't people take a stand against the inflated prices? It all stems from greed. Sad, just sad.

Wow...I had to deal with a homophobic comment earlier, now I have to deal with a racist.

Wrong, I don't hate gay folks. In fact, I could care less what they do in their private lives.

But I don't think we should honor those people with a parade.

What is so special about a bunch of men that choose a lifestyle of putting their penis into another man's anus? Does that deserve a PARADE?!

Simple...you are saying that it's only Mexicans who trash Cherry Beach. Do you know for a fact that every piece of trash that litters the beach was placed there by a person of Mexican descent? Because if you can show me evidence I'll give you credit...until then, you are making an assumption that makes you sound ignorant.

Couldn't have said it better myself. Take a look at the beach on July 5th and you will see 2 feet of garbage strewn throughout the grass and they don't even know what they are celebrating.

Isn't there a paper that you can read in Huntington Beach ? It's at least 95 percent Mexican at the Park on Cherry and Ocean.
You can believe whatever you would like but I've seen it with my own two eyes.

If the gays can demonstrate in Long Beach, why can't the Westboro Baptist Church? First amendment for all, right?
