There's a little nook called Gabernick's right by RBC. They have a soup and sandwich luch special which is like 6.50 with taxes and their corned beef is to die for. Really give it a try. Also the people working there are just as busy as Garry's but really friendly too. As for Winnipeg Tradition, go to a little place on selkirk avenue called Eddy's Place for the Thickest mouthwatering corned beef you'll ever taste.

And what about Oscar's deli? A famous Winnipeg lawyer went on television and told the story of how she went to Oscar's and had an epiphany that resulted in her religious conversion. Converting for corned beef. What an interesting concept. This is certainly unique. Or maybe not. Anybody know of anyone else who has converted for corned beef?

Here's an idea. Maybe Gary's should pay someone famous like the corned beef lawyer to advertise for them on TV and then they will get a good reputation.

Yes it sounds like the corned beef lawyer would be a good advertisement if he/she could be convinced to do advertising for the deli. Wow, to think that someone would change their religion just for kosher meat. Interesting.
