Does Winnipeg need a Walmart downtown?

That might just be the most stupid thing I've heard...

That is such a cool idea. I go to the University of Winnipeg and that would be so convenient for The me but they won't do it cause their is no parking.The students that from here that don't drive so they would love that or even a Zellers downtown. They used to have a Zellers downtown ..I think my mother told me that.I try to stay away from Portage place...it is too dangerous in there.

no i don't think so they are burn artists and they are American not canadian we should support our stores (canadian stores) like super store for shopping and other canadian outlets not American they use people in Asia and Mexico to make their so called great cheap product's personally i wont support walmart and many of my friends and family wont either and they also don't even respect their workers with wages and benefits that they are entitled too and no union big company with no heart for their workers...NO SUPPORT FOR THE SKUM OF COPMPANIES!

we already have a Giant Tiger downtown. Besides, where would we put a WalMart store? There is no room for it, since it requires so much parking space...
