Maybe you don't get it because you are not well educated enough or well read enough to know what E. coli or mad cow disease are. Try reading the news. Then maybe you will get it. But then again maybe not. Maybe you just haven't got what it takes to get it.

Sorry you don't care about these people but you are likely some ethnocentric, egocentric person who just thinks about themselves and their own little social network and what elementary school you all went to...because you likely did not make it to high school. Oh I forgot...they pass everybody now...the dumbing down of the education system.

I just ate at Daly Burger and I must say that even the though the fries were very good I was somewhat disappointed.
The burger was hand made, but it was a thin over cooked dried out patty. Even Wendy's burger's are juicier. I had a deluxe burger/fries & a coke and it ran me $10 or $11. That seems a bit steep for lunch. At George's or other burger joints they have lunch specials with the same amount of food for $6 or $7.
I have eaten in at least 500 burger joints over the past 25-30 years and I would say that Daly Burger would rank 150th on that list. The food was above average, but nothing to brag about. If this is Winnipeg's best burger joint-this city is in trouble.

you guys are so judgemental. you never give credit when credit is needed. have you been in there when it is crazy busy? yes your patty is thin but you can see it being made. go anywhere else and you dont have a clue what they are doing or how long your patty is sitting somewhere. i think they do a great job. they make it all about you. and your worried about the price? you pay for what you get. you have to make money in business and you cant sell something for cheap unless you are getting crap product that is not worth anything. do you complain when you go to a bar and pay 5 bucks for a beer? you only live once so y not make it worth it. money comes and money goes. live a little.

Never been to Daly Burger, but I've heard it's wicked.
One of my personal favourites is Blondies on Main Street by Kildonan Park. Not the glitziest place in town, but good burgers and shakes.
Hands-down, the best burger I've ever had, though, was in a tiny little town called Ignace, Ontario (on the way to T-Bay). I think the restaurant was called Iggy's. Seriously, awesome.

Typical Winnipegger response:
"The best burger is a FREE one!"
But seriously, I've always liked Burger Factory.

My vote is for Kelekis on Main. Great burgers. They also do really fantastic fish & chips.

Daly burgers are just ok. I don't understand why so many Winnipeger's like chili on burgers. If you want THE best burger, drive 60 miles south to Altona and go to the motor hotel and have their version of a Teen Burger. Great fries and the best gravy in the Province
