Sex offender off the streets

As a victim of this predator, I thank you for your comment and you are absolutely correct. There is little accountability for this sort of crime but 7.5 years is a start. These pedophiles are frightening and skillful manipulators with no regard for anyone but themselves.

...The perpetrator was convicted for over 30 years of abuse of 4 victims who actually came forward. She was referring to the case as a whole so YOU DO THE MATH...

Thank god someone finally came forward... he is a creep! He has impacted too many families and too many people kept quiet!!! He was a pretentious ass, hopefully he is getting payback in Bowden

We need to have tougher laws for these sick men, most re offend soon as they are released from Prison, and we all know that our justice system here is a joke when it comes to making people accountable for their actions! Who is going to protect our children? It sure isn't the Government of Canada. I say throw all sexual predators of children into general population and let the men sort it out!

Sam, not sure how your posts are at all relevant to this article? No one is disputing that there are female pedophiles, but this article is about a male. Further, for every one article there is about female pedophiles, there are 20 times as many about males. The fact remains, pedophiles are, by substantial majority, male

20% of convicted sex offenders are female and that number is probably under reported due to the fact that the victims don't come forward as much as when there is a male perpetrator.
In addition, you might want to check your state laws. In our state, if two 15 year olds have consensual sex and are caught, they will be tried for the felony crime of child sexual assault against each other, a Class C felony. If a parent or guardian possesses knowledge of this act and fails to act to prevent such a crime, the parent is convicted of a Class D felony. Regardless, since these are sexual criminal offenses, these people if convicted must register on the state Sex Offender Registry.

turns out the "creep" we're talking about in this post happens to be my father. i definately dont support anything he did in those 30 years, nor do i think that he should go unpunished for his crimes, nor do i think that his victims are unjustified in their actions, sending him to jail.
i do however support my father. i believe in my father. i know my dad wasnt born a disgusting pervert and i wont make him into a victim or anything but i have faith in the legal process,(programs, courses, etc..), and i believe in a God who can turn the heart of the most vile offenders into something clean, and who can restore broken men and women, rejects of society, into upstanding and honorable people. in the time he has been in, ive seen,(and many others can testify to this), a remarkable change in him and i rejoice to see his continued progress.
i hope you all can pray with me for the healing of those that whose lives will never be the same because of him, but it is also my hope that as equals in the human race, we can give hope to a man who has been tossed to the bowels of society to rot.
