Author, murderer Yvonne Johnson granted day parole

Yvonne Johnson, an award-winning author who's spent 17 years in prison for first-degree murder, has been granted day parole, a National Parole Board panel decided Thursday. via CBC

I'd like to know more about this story. Her story is an interesting one and it would be good to know what life after prison holds.

I dont get it she spent all those years in jail for somthing she just helped but didnt do anything serious . and like... she got the bitch yo. thats bulcrap... like 1st degree murder they put the blame on her cause of her face and she was differernt thats why they did that to her. They put the blame on her. She was born with a cleft plate of somtthing and her mom loved her more for it to but evenyone was ugh i hate it. but of corse yaa
