I think this statement is some what inaccurate. There are literary thousands of unemployed Aboriginals i.e. male and female. The question? Why not hire the unemployed Aboriginals first?

There is a secret law that we Canadians must destroy before our Aboriginals are free. The Aboriginals are still in a Concentration Camp called Indian Reserves. We, the Canadians must destroy this discriminatory section in the Queen's Constitution even, yes, even if it means taking direct action like PLF's organization is.

The Aboriginals do have brain power but no law from Parliament is active that would give them the power to built things like the Roman Catholics can do with their economic companies and hospitals. There! That is why Aboriginals are hopelessly retarded because they are in prison, and the Canadians must break them out!

What degree do you have? Are you employed, did the degree help you find that employment? If not, a trade would have been better. I don't know of too many unemployed tradesman in this country.

I know of aboriginals that work and some of them doing very well. What's wrong with the rest of them? Same those goes for any other group of people.

..... As I understand it, there are many treaties between Aboriginals of Canada and the Government of Canada. They must be observed. Payments to Aboriginals should be considered to be rent payments for the use of their land, and they may be misusing that money. Check their school systems too!

I dont know where you live but that is a lie! Other than alberta, they are thousands of tradepeople out of work. I lived in quebec last year and half my building was filled with them. I presently live in ottawa and the two roomates I reside with are laidoff IT people, one who is on welfare and the other guy works telemarketing at minimum wage. I am out of work and have to leave my province and there is no work in ottawa. I also have 3 friends out of work who always worked and are highly skilled. Canadian born should be hired FIRST its our country.

1 million canadians lost their jobs since 2008 when the global recession hit and WE HAVE NOT RECOVERED. We also bring in thousands of people on working visas who takes jobs away from college kids. ALot of college kids cant find a THING-I should know I have 8 nieces and nephews and of the 5- one works out of country for the summer, one found a 6 week lifeguard job and the other 3 cant find a thing.

The problem with Canadian Indians is self esteem. The government by far and large has forgotten about these people. They have never really been shown how to integrate themselves into society. I think most of them have just given up?
