I also see that you're trying to stir up that old "Pity Party" about Vermont's highest Tax fable.... If you go by the "TRUE FACTS" you're not even close to the highest taxed state.... If that were true, every individual in that state would have a tax burden of over $6000 per year.... Alaska is listed as one of the highest taxed states BUT is also listed as the most friendly taxed state on an individual basis.... Now how the fck do you suppose that happened????? You keep referring to that yearly Forbes/CNN/Fox statistic which couldn't be more wrong and misleading beyond belief.... Total taxes collected, divided by total population does not give you totals collected per individual living in Vermont McNutt....

Also included in this survey they compared the largest cities from each state with a family of 3 and a household income of $65,000 and Burlington ranked 25th in the country for total tax liability....
