Well PEI er's don't despair just modernize a bit. The top graded provinces both issue warnings to residents several times throughout the year warning citizens who have respiratory illness to stay indoors because the pollution index's are so high. In Toronto they can estimate how many people will come to the hospital a day with heart attacks based on pollution levels.

Seems like the Knights are pretty select in their what they choose to look at.

Clean up your act with some good windows, walk when it doesn't require the car and enjoy that fresh air.

That is Toronto a long ways from Vancouver.
BC is the most beautiful province in Canada, we have a little bit of everything. That is why our license says Beautiful BC,(at least it did for years). Don't be fooled by my ip it says Alberta, but I am a born and raised BC girl. I have been from one corner of it to the other, lived on the Queen Charlottes, etc, and can tell you that each and every peice of it is beautiful, and green, even Lillooet BC.

You live in BC and do you know how many days in a summer the valley that Abbotsford is in is swamped by pollutants. It is a highly traveled and lived in portion of the mainland. When you are warned to stay indoors it is for a reason. There are also times when it is just under the acceptable limits as that isn't much better.I wasn't talking beautiful. BC is beautiful. The green that was measured was about the use of this product and that product etc. Sitting in front of an environmentally friendly window looking out because you can't go out is not a great way to gauge what area is greener.
Choosing provinces where the the basics of life are not hampered because of the environment says more.PEI has a way to go but of the two I would rather live in Cavendish than Abbotsford. I could sit in my yard in the afternoon.

I find the winters in most parts of Canada hard to take breathing wise. Why? Because a lot have wood burning stoves, and that is very unhealthy.
But I usually do not let elements stop me from enjoying life or partaking in it, I am not one to go around with a mask. I draw my own conclusions, not others.
But hey thanks for the pollen alert. I have lived in Abbotsford, and there are much better places than that to live in BC. And if that is the only place you can find with smog alerts then I would say BC is doing just fine. Maybe the dirty air comes from our neighbors acrosss the border. They do have a way of stinking things up.

I've lived in other provinces other the BC. The difference is most of the population tries to be green in BC whereas in some of the rest of Canada they don't even try. Now if we could get everyone out of there cars we might even have good air in Abbotsford. ;)

Daily Horoscope for December 24

Aries

Christmas Eve finds you happy and eager to get the most out of the day. You're in a rather sentimental mood, so if you've got time you'll relish the chance to watch a favourite film, especially if it means you've got to get out the hankies. A friend's kindness or sensitivity will delight you - and make you wonder how you can reciprocate.
