Port Alberni Thief

On Sept.17th a First Nations male aged approx 20-25 years old came into my place of work and asked for a glass of water and he was supplied with his own cup, we told him no and 30 minutes later discovered he had snuck into our staff room and stole all my ID, credit cards and cheque book. Thank goodness for security cameras I have many good shots of him to help RCMP track him down. He did leave behind his water cup which hopefully will be finger printed and his identity revealed. Today I learned that he has done this to 5 other business's that I am aware of so far. I am writing this today just for public awareness in hopes he dosnt get a chance to rip off any one else. It seems that at all places he has visited he has always asked for a glass of water. So for all owners and staff be on the look out and make sure if you see anything suspicious that you please inform the RCMP right away.
