The tax system is so unfair that I also sold my my property in Perth-Andover. It's a sad day when people with roots in Victoria County can't continue to spend the summers in Perth-Andover.
The area gains a lot from money spent by people with a cottage/camp or seasonal home but the government doesn't seem to realize this. With a local home buyer, I was pleased to inform them that the taxes they would be paying was less than half of what we as non-owner occupied paid. |
