These ground breaking events are so silly. 15 people in suits pretending to use a shovel.
Get the darn thing built, and next time spend the two hours that were spent celebrating actually working on something of importance. God knows that we need it around here.

Can't stop laughing! We're talking about Niagara Falls here. There is NO WAY this thing is coming in at less than 60 million...

I hope a follow up is done in a couple of years "where are they now type." Tumbleweeds blowing across the terminal, but at least 15 TSA employees will be standing around doing their usual nothing.

Boondoggle! People will fleece millions on this deal! Rather than build something lets reduce our taxes to attract business!

Isn't it a shame that we will never have confidence in our scumbag politicians.
All they ever do is hire their own family and steal from the treasury.
Let see who is awaying re-elections again to steal some more for doing nothing?
Clinton, Slaughter, DelMonte, Thompson,Maziarz, and the rest of the fakers

I would love to see flights to New York City. I've lived in New York State most of my life but never had the opportunity to see the city for myself.

Well first if they didn't have to use union labor, the thing could probably have built for $12 million.

I'm not sure if you are aware of it but there is an airport in town, Buffalo-Niagara Int'l, and they do have flights to N.Y.C. And they have had for some time now, like maybe the last 50 years!

This WGRZ news item is not very informative. Shouldn't the article explain what domestic and international flights this terminal will serve? Seems the key information of the article is lacking.

Have you ever noticed that the majority of summer hires at our local federal agencies are the sons and daughters of the employees at the U.S. Attorney's office and the U.S. Federal Courthouse? These are summer hires who need these jobs the least. The jobs are supposed to go to under privileged students, not the wealthy.

Why do they have summer jobs ?? they just want to waste taxpayers money If they can opperate through the rest of the year why do they need summer help ?? go figger

What a waste!! Building a new airport for a city that's an embarrasment to all on WNY. There may be a few fools who will fly in there once, then realize what a mistake that was. We won't even discuss winter use.
