So RTO, theres that good old union way of thinking! Give us what we want or we hold out breath, stomp our feet and take our ball and go home. What ya gonna do if they cave to your demands but then end up shutting the doors due to the fact that they will not be able to pay your wages. If they give you more they are not gonna cut into their profits. They will raise the cost to their customer. When that prices gets to high, LCL will just say buh-bye we are going with a different 3rd party!
Remember you move boxes for a living, not rocket science! If you had a degree you might have a job that pays good cash not breaks your back!!!
Hugs and kisses!

that's sweet of you, but then you would have to raise the union dues to cover the cost of the milk and bottles or got on strike until the employer give you a raise to cover the cost and gives you double time and a half to be away from your job to serve!

Wow, when did this forum become about whining? For all those unhappy with the union being in, who cares? Get over it, you had your chance, you voted, you lost. Deal with the reality you're faced with.
Crap in here is the same thing that sucks so bad at Atlas, the lack of brotherhood. Whether you like the union or not, you're stuck with them unless or until you can drum up enough support to get rid of them, and we all know that won't happen. Lets work together, get our fair share from the company, and go home, theres no need for all the back biting.

It's funny how many people can profit of one mans wage, Atlas takes the difference of what LcL once paid, the union takes dues, at least we can thank the union for keeping jobs away from temp agencies, this is capitalism bleeding a rock ... Successfully

They are just as good for the job, its just another hand in a hard working persons pocket, someone else taking a cut from someone's sweat. And if you truly believe Atlas had no intentions on hiring contracted employee's...take alook at americus...doesnt take an idiot. This union didnt bargain the greatest contract, but it did cover alot of basic stuff that we are taking for granted right now.

I think there's about a 95% incentive that the people that work at Atlas do not like the place.

I like how they are giving dollar figures now of how much damage they are getting. It doesn't take a brain surgeon to figure out that the companies 100% incentive is the major cause of that.

There will be a lot more damages now that Atlas has changed the standards levels(something they don't seem to understand). Someone is going to get killed and it will all be in the name of money. An investigation will begin and then the truth will come out. Be prepared

In BC no idea. Maintenance in Ajax does hardly anything I suppose, you see them just driving around every so often. I think they make close to $30/hr.

Daily Horoscope for December 23

Gemini

You're in a very erratic mood today, making you restless, edgy and nervy. It may be almost impossible to settle to anything for long, because, as Mercury slows, you soon lose interest. If life becomes boring you'll want to liven it up in some way and it's likely you'll choose the most disruptive and controversial option you can think of, even though you know this will cause trouble.
