Rally for English Right to Work In New Brunswick

For the last 40 years there has been a steady systematic erosion of civil service position and public sector jobs for the majority in this province and country.

On June 25th, concerned citizens, language rights groups & human rights groups will be rallying in front of the Centennial Building, 670 King Street, Fredericton from 11:00 am to 4:30 pm in an effort to bring attention and support to this issue.

All concerned groups and citizens are invited to attend.

No need to spend the whole day, even a half hour of your time will help!

For more information please call 506-363-5963.

We need some English folks in some of these civil service positions and public sector positions for the English as most of the "bilingual" French folks just can't speak proper English to be understood by the English folks. Absolutely no need for ALL the positions to be classified as "Bilingual".

Why would there be unilingual francophone jobs here? This is an ENGLISH province in an ENGLISH country on an ENGLISH continent! Get over your selves. French is a dying minority language, live with it. And if there are 30 or 40 unilingual francophones here in NB, which i doubt, it would be MUCH simpler in the grand scheme of things if THEY " got off their asses" and learned to speak english. That would be much easier than trying to teach french to 400,000 anglophones who will NEVER need to use it. A little common sense in this whole foolish affair would go a long ways.

Oh and by the way, most of these 400 000 anglophones do not agree with your bigoted views and a lot of them did learn French and are sending their kids through immersion, so they will also be bilingual and be quite a bit more openminded then your LOUD MINORITY !!!!

"Most" of those anglos whom have attempted to learn french and have placed their children into immersion do not do it willingly, fearfully is a better discription really. Good scam little louis and cohorts pulled off. But hopefully some day this wrong will be righted, and the majority having to learn a minorities dying language will be a thing of the past. And this so called "bilingual" designation was not voted upon there "dofit" it was forced upon the province. And if you and yours don't think that the majority of anglos do not agree with these views then lets settle this once and for all here in New Brunswick by having a good old fashioned referendum on the issue with a REAL question. And i'm sure all resonable citizens will abide by the results....would you? Ha. The SANB would NEVER want a referendum on this issue, as they know damn well what would happen. Now lets hear your whiny response....

The french dialect in New Brunswick is so bad that several years back , a francophone group had to go and create a 'shiac' dictionary for the French Doctors.

Funny how you guys keep repeating the same bigoted message that the COR Party used to promote. Where is that losers party today ? Oh yeah, not even the SENSIBLE English speaking citizens of this BILINGUAL province wanted to vote for them, just like they don't care about your petty arguments and paranoia !!!

Before COR imploaded upon itself, it was the official opposition in the province.

The new party will NOT make the same mistakes.

Once word gets out of the sellout of the current parties, a new party will slip right in.
