Wow, such objective reporting. What a narrow minded way of thinking. It's people like you who are making this country worse by robbing it of its culture and diversity. Instead of promoting intolerance, why not encourage multilingualism and start catching up with the rest of the world, most of whom can speak more than one language

Thank you Paul, glad to find someone with real brains on here ! I feel I must warn you that you are loosing your time trying to convince the likes of Daryl Doucette, Robert K Monckton, Monckton News-views, Tiger Williams, James Wolf and quite a few others from the Anglo-Society who roam on here. They all live in their own deluded world of paranoia and bigotry. But still, it's refreshing to see someone who understands that the mind is like a parachute, it works much better when you open it !

Paul ,where have you been hiding ? Oh , I just noticed, you're from Quebec. Europe has proven that multilingualism and multiculturalism are failures. If Quebec will not allow them then why should the rest of Canada? English is the lingua franca of the civilized and developing world.

But I have news for you, get your learning cap on because if we are talking about the language of the civilized and developing world, I think it is fair to say that Mandarin, Cantonese and Punjabi are quite ahead of Ye Old English language. You and your descendants don't have to worry about learning French, start learning the Chinese and Indian languages, because they are the majority in the world's population and they are taking over, in population size and economically. How far in debts are the US ? Well they owe most of those trillions to China. Guess what, if China decides to collect, we will be neighbor's to a new Chinese country !!! So yeah, stop worrying about us frogs and take out your chop sticks !!! Wǎn ān to you sir !

"doofus" you make a good point here. Really if there are going to be 2 official languages in canada, which of course there should not be, the other one should be some sort of asian dialect as they far out number francophones OUTSIDE of kebec, oh and Paul from Montreal i fully encourage you and all your franco family and friends to get on the campaign trail and re-ignite the separatist movement, the sooner you kebecers leave canada the better! bon voyage....

You make me think of white supremacists. Hatred passed down from generation to generation. Here's to hoping you don't have any children. Franco-ontariens feel as welcome in Ontario as you would in a post-secondary institution. Post-secondary means college or university btw.

We'll see how "welcome" franc-ontarions are in Ontario as soon as the "anglo-ontarians" start getting eliminated from promotions, and new jobs because they can't speak the language of the minority, and the franco-ontarians swoop in and get those jobs...that is what is going on here in NB and is what Robert Monckton is referring to. And you f'ers start calling english people supremisists, rascists and bigots every time english rights are mentioned by them. Well guess what? If you don't like it, go F%$# yourself mr francotarian....and good luck trying to take over ontario.

It's just a reality and if you're angry about that then blame the employers (private sector) not the person applying for the job. Or would you prefer that francophones get last crack at applying for jobs? Only Robert reminds me of supremisists not the entirety of english people. Nice try! I've read many of his posts over the last few days and what he has to say is filled with hate with a few of his 'facts' thrown in for evil mesure. There's got to be a better way to go about resolving these issues than getting angry on the Internet! You have a right to your opinion and so do I. But there has to be a better way to discuss this than forcing franco-ontariens to move to Quebec. Seriously, that's just sad!

I would prefer that francophones get as many jobs that reflect the percentage of them in a given area. no more, no less. this whole bilingualism bs was invented by french to give an advantage of french over english, pure and simple. And that frenchman was pierre elliot trudeau.

so like i said before the French people must be very good workers in order to provide welfare to all the unemployed English that claims they are the majority of the jobless and all the French have the jobs ..... on the same token those people the English (well anglo saxon ones ) says they are the majority and the French are the minority so therefore it either means that the French are paying way more in taxes (since they are the minority and are the only ones employed according to the AnglSaxon) than anybody else in the world to support the lazy people that do not want to work or learn another language

Francotarien, don't even try reasoning with Bobby, he is short a few and doesn't understand much. He lives in his own fabricated paranoid world where everything not Anglo-Saxon is evil and is out to get him. He is beyond hope or salvation!

"Douche" If we'd stick to your reasoning, that would mean that in a 99% Anglophone region, where a job of Mechanical Engineer would be available, the Bilingual French person from Moncton would not be able to get the job, but Bubba, that has been a mechanic at Joe's garage for 3 years, could, all because he is part of the majority of that region. Yup, makes sense to me !!! NOT !!!!!!!!!
