I think I asked what about the compassion for the victim and once again people don't answer. There was no mention of the victim once again. That's no surprise though.

We know that some individuals don't want to answer it.

These individuals try to take attention away from the facts of the case. They try to scapegoat someone else and then they "convict" them before you. And then they hope you will take it as a form of a fact or some form of a fact thinking it will lessen the guilt or exonerate the guilty.

In what world that you live in is compassion for BOTH the victim and offender not possible. That is 'love'.
Imagine what a parent would go through if one of their children killed their only other child. The child who committed the murder was paranoid schizophrenic but in addition to the illness was also, most of the time, a very loving though tortured individual.
It isn't that we don't "get" what you are talking about.
I am a mother and, like so many others, I cried for the victim's family and was very disturbed by the details of the offense. They stuck to me for several days. The repetition you provide opens though places again.
But, I like others do not feel as if my heart need only embrace the victim it must also be open to someone who is in the grips of insanity. He did not cannibalize the young man because he was hungry. You are vastly over simplifying it so that you can deal with it.
I do believe that an insanity clause in law is reasonable. I do not want to see any short turn arounds in this case. Obviously I would want a lengthy period of observation to take place once he achieves a healthy mental state.
There, now you have someone who explains about the victim and the offender.Although I haven't heard anyone say that the victim doesn't matter.

Wow ! I can't believe the laws we have. The RCMP have no problem tasering a man to death because he was hungry in an airport, but some nut job can kill an innocent kid and cut his head off,eat parts of his body, and they didn't shoot him? Then the courts say he's just in need of some time out in a cozy hospital, but he's a nice guy...Get Real!! The death penalty was never more needed.I was born in Canada, lived here 65 years, but this b.s makes me sickened, hang that bastard...twice.

It seems that Canada bends over backwards for the cost to have their statistic people count and encourage IMMigration at the cost of true born and raised Canadian lives. If we Canadians went to another country and did anything we would be deported,or jailed and done away with, - Here we have immigrants moving to Canada doing things like the bus incident and because this person is now a Canadian, we Canadian's are footing the bills for legal and treatment. Very unfair, and not necessary.

The government let this useless sick chink into our country. The government medical system failed to treat this chink in the pyscho ward and let him out. As a result, this chink who didn't speak english, had no skills, no money, huge stress, no proper medical treatment, killed somebody. BLAME OUR F$UCKING GOVERNMENT!

Grab a brain, what about the guy who murdered his wife, the model, in California recently or the Canadian from BC who was caught in Bangkok in sex with children. Do you really think we are so much better than everyone else?

To the families of Tim McLean. I feel for you. I can imagine the very hurt you are going through. The problem with Vince Lee is that he is demonic. that was a demonic act, pure and simple. No amount of medication will drive out the demons within him.And if he is released next year, as was mentioned in the news, then there is definitely something wrong with the Justice system in our country. If he is deemed not mentally capable of a trial, then he should be locked away in a mental institution indefinitely. As was the case of a man who shot a family of 9 to death some years ago, he was mentally incapable of a trial, so was imprisoned in a psychiatric hospital for life, eventually he died there. but he was not let go free to kill again. So should be the same for Li.As with Li, he also heard voices in his head and was told to kill. Those voices heard by these people were simply of the devil. DEMONS entered these guys. And the only way to rid of these demons is by the Lord Jesus Christ. In the Bible, He drove demons out of people that were possessed.

Maybe you know why God did not drive the demons out before Li did what he did.

Daily Horoscope for December 29

Scorpio

Your thoughts turn to the past today, putting you in a nostalgic mood. You're awash with sentimental tears as you dwell on days gone by or gaze at photos of people you'll never see again. However, try not to let this mood of reminiscence turn into a tendency to feel sorry for yourself and therefore to demand special treatment from others.
