You'll have to excuse this Vaccines r-whatever (potsts under multiple names). He's ignorant, knowing and caring nothing re. the science invoved, he can only offer ignorance reproduced from moronic websites. Of can guess his IQ matches his age.

Vaccines Cause Autism wrote: Maybe they can figure out why vaccines cause autism, instead of ignoring it and covering it up. Why are people still touting this outright LIE? Even the fellow who first made the claim has retracted it, and said it was all made up! He was simply trying to get more attention and more money for parents of Autistic children. His aim was noble, but the way he went about it was wrong. And the morons out there STILL pretend that vaccines have something to do with Autism, which it doesn't. ZERO credible evidence supporting that asinine notion.

But then, he'd have the brainpower to actually do a bit of actual research, instead of cherry picking stories from spurious sources (with ZERO scientific evidence behind them). And then he'd realize what a moron he's been all along. Can't have that...

Peter - it's ok that you understand nothing of science. Lots of folks are ignorant and some try to understand rather than offer childish insults. Vaccine injury is a known phenomenon and governments have determined that the public health benefits of vaccination outweigh to rate of injury. They've set up compensation plans to address the low rate of injury. Claims of autism-related injury, whether via thimersol or generally claimed, have no technical foundation. The silly webistes above are from cleary biased groups - offering theusual ad homiem rather than techncial data in support. Suggest you read Wakefield's actual report - you will understand how limited it was. And then read the scientific work conducted to explore and eventually reject his hypothesis. Start with pubmed.

I'll add that in the US and other countries - folks can't sue vaccine manufacturers for known and anticipated vaccine reactions. These do occur and the frequnecy is known and, as I said, accepted by public health authorties as a necessary evil. Clearly these companies (and there aren't many), will not produce vaccines that aren;t esp profitable but would bring ongoing and consistent liability. So if you have concerns, talk to your government - not "big phrma" as you call it. I doubt many of you could even name a supplier of vaccines without an hour's search of the web.

Peacher Man wrote: <quoted text> Oh mister unbiased expert hasd spoken. On your knees peasants. Your explanation omitts that vaccine injury has increased and is not this simplistic little rare and mild explanation they feed the public. Autism was 1 in 10,000 in the 1980's. Just released U.S. figures from 2008 are 1 in 88. Its 1 in 38 South Korea, 1 in 64 Britain. But lame brains like you shrug your shoulders and say biased groups, those being parents of these children should suck it up and do nothing as numbers rapidly approach a time when all children will be on the spectrum. Good job. You are so wise. Doesn't your religion ban lying? Because you seem to enjoy doing it a LOT.

Odd how folks like "preacher man" are so proud of their ignorance and inability to reason. The illogical leap from different rates in countries to the implication of vaccine etiology (big word - sorry preacher - look it up) isn't justified. Here's a concept for you - coincidence doesn;t mean causality. Diagnostic criteria for "autism" differ between countries as does the priority of diagnosis. Please consider that the condition is a higher prioriy of concern in the US where criteria have significantly expanded what is called autism. However, I understand you already have a conclusion so suggest you ignore the facts, they'll merely confuse you (by whatever name you post). More ignorance - "vaccine safety" and safety of any drug is not an absolute - it's a rate of reactions and consideration of severity of reactions/ complications.

Preacher Man wrote: <quoted text> Religion is a lie, just like vaccine safety. Well, I certainly can agree with the first part. Religion is the longest running lie in history. Imagine, if you will, an adult that actually believed that Santa Claus exists, and that he brings gifts every year. wouldn't you worry about that person and want them to find serious psychological help? So why do we allow people who claim that an imaginary sky pixie is "real" without mandatory psycological testing? Now, as for Vaccines, the Science is solid. And I suspect that you have Science to thank that you don't have Smallpox, Diptheria, Measels, or a host of other deadly diseases. Funny how some idiots decry the same medical breakthroughs that save lives every single day. I can only imagine the level of ignorance needed to do so...

Right - lame old science and logic. Your sole input being childish insult is a sure sign you've nothing to offer. But thik about it - you don't have to spend the rest of your life the moron you are now. Try to ue what little IQ you have to learn about this subject.

"Idiot detector" - another name for preacher et al. As usual - childish name calling and posturing without a substance. Where's your contribution to anything? Odd how some folks insist that all see their ignorance and in so cowardly and obvious a manner using multiple names.

Sorry whiner - but apparently you are one of those pieces as you've nothing to offer but incomplete sentences and a miniature IQ. Odd how the idiot took almost week to come back with that simple-minded moronic comment. Think the so-called "idiot detector" can best find an idiot using a mirror.

Sad little kids, they thing being behind a keyboard makes them anonymous. It's kind of amusing to watch them though, isn't it? Like watching retarded kids fight over a toy...
