of course...they're smart in Canada...let these workers lose their employment.

So sympathy for the union workers in this time for economic problems.

Union workers need to look at the salary and perks of THEIR head honchos....they're bleeding you guys dry...

Ford just made 1 billion in profit and now look at what the autoworkers union in Canada talked the Canadian employees into sacrificing.

It is nigh unnatural and incompatible with union interests for union bosses representing employees to make such concessions in the face of 1 billion dollars in employer profit.

Something is terribly wrong with this scenario.

Just who are the labor unions representing, Ford or union members?

LOL..typical union goon 'give me give me give me' attitude. An automaker makes some profit and people like you think it's time for me and the union boys to make ridiculous demands and f**k the company.

I ask you...do you work for Ford(or whomever) or the union?

I believe if someone is making a good wage, has some good benefits etc..then STFU and get to work or there's the door.

Some people make $25 an hour and still complain. Nothing is good enough for them.

As a retired Canadian Autoworker I can tell you that commonsense would dictate unionized workers have much more job security employed by a profitable manufacturer than an unprofitable one. Ford, GM and Chrysler have gone through the toughest of time and the workforce both in Canada and the US have suffered enormously, so from my point of view the fact that this great American corporation is in the black is welcome news.Let's hope the other American Automoble manufacturers start reporting similar results. Don't forget that the greatest( affordable) cars and trucks are built right here in Norh America
