Who would you like for the new Ward 6 councillor?

After hearing her speak at the all candidates meeting last night, she has my vote.

Any other ward 6 residents care to wade in here?

I heard she was very well spoken at that meeting, so she has mine too..

It will be interesting to see how close these numbers will be compared to tonights..

Anyone care to guess what voter turnout will be?

Well, other than some small newspaper ads and what I hear was a very poor showing at the all candidates meeting at Owl River by Jake & Reg - we have not heard diddley-squat from them, while Heather has ads on the radio and talked to a lot of people out our way, so I think if people are using their 'noggins the poll numbers should reflect the final count. But we'll see I guess..

ps. I heard she was also at the brunch in Owl River yesterday as well..

we have not heard from the new councilor since the election. did she get the gag order already? only a few comments on the radio.

I am still here and read the postings when I have a chance. No, I did not get a gag order!

Actually, I have been busy working full-time, attending Council meetings, reading a mountain of policies, bylaws, etc., and when time permits, making sure my kids have clean clothes to wear and food to eat.
