As it is,

this guy is responsible for your editors and

your present elected non highlighting obstructionism

not being made clear to the voters so others running

don’t even seem able to score political points ...

remind us why people should be laughing at Duceppe rather than at the guy running Mulroney's PMO who created the conditions for the BLOC to get established ?

Much of the opening several paragraphs in this article is a repeat (identical in parts) of the article about the hospital in the previous day's paper;

http://www.topix.net/forum/ca/halton-hills-on...

We hope for better than such a copy and paste standard from the main front page headline article in Metroland.

Also, why does the reporter solicit hospital spokespeople for comments on residents' expressed concerns?

No such favour has been accorded to residents when the hospital makes statements.

Finally, why are residents concerned about their community labelled as 'hospital opponents'

while those who want to tear down our local hospital get to frame themselves as 'hospital supporters'?

Also, in Canada

we have free speech.

The right to write your letter and have it published in the local paper.

the same paper that deletes online comments for self-serving purposes and

trolls who attempt to dis-credit one's opinions...

yeah, free speech.

Good luck Charmaine and continued success!

The new National Football League season is now underway. Which brand of football do you prefer to watch— the NFL or the Canadian Football League?

Little more than 100 years ago,

for any group to achieve so called legitimacy, to be heard and to have influence, it needed access to a good printing press.

Comrade Lenin understood this as he rallied the masses for the Russian revolution.

Now all they need is a cellphone, access to the internet and a blog site to blast out their message.

Daily Horoscope for June 1

Sagittarius

You're in a highly emotional state today, Archers, but what you want may not be what others are after. Jupiter is out of favor, so don't be tempted to insist that you get your own way, or that you are somehow a special case. Work in harmony with loved ones, and all will be well.
