Paul Watson is an ecologist without doubt. Terrorist no - Saint no.
I agree he sometimes exceeds Jurisdictions but I do not believe the Canadian CG had any right to seize his vessel in these circumstances. This is receiving bad press overseas and it looks as if the government is hiding something by force.
If you view the videos you will note that the CG vessel went closer to sealers than the Farly Mowat and what sort of government allows people out into the ice with clearly inappropriate boats such as is easily seen.
