Seems like everyone is innocent. Do you honestly think the that police like to go out and 'beat' people. Give your head a shake. I'm sure you were doing something illegal and when confronted 'resisted' the police. They are entitled to use as much force to arrest you. Stop whining and grow up!! Having witnessed the Nanaimo RCMP in action while eating at a restaurant downtown Nanaimo I have to say, they do not seem to have the right reasons for using physical force and harm with people. Quite frankly, what kind of training are they getting if they cannot deal with situations in non-violent ways. There is no reason, ever, especially when you have handcuffs, to boot stomp anyone after they have been thrown to the ground, kicked, yelled and berated.
Yet, simply because they have a badge they are the good guys? That is not only wrong, but blind and ignorant. Hitler was the government, it didn't make him right though.
These are the RCMP we pay for?

Wow. Do you consider yourself to be educated? If so maybe you should go get some common sense. There are many people who have been bullied by the cops. Even if they are doing something wrong, there is no reason for a so called authority figure to hand cuff someone and beat them. I have seen with my own eyes some serious bullying by the rcmp. I have no doubt that some are bullies. NO DOUBT!! You need a reality check ...Justice.

There are going to be certain individuals within any organization who will abuse their authority. That couldn't be more true for the RCMP. Studies have shown that many applicants to the RCMP are power hungry sociopaths and for that reason are turned down, but unfortunately many slip in unidentified, and they go on to reign terror on unsuspecting individuals within our society. Once they are secure in their career, they target certain people to humiliate and harass. They enter untrue data about the person onto RCMP public profile programs, so in the future any other RCMP member will assume the information to be true. This leads to illegal searches and incarceration by RCMP who really are only trying to do their job. "One bad apple will spoil the entire pie."

As a former law enforcement officer I can tell you there is a lot to be concerned about from the RCMP.I have seen more mental cases in the force than outside.

I have personally wittnessed abuse of powers from 4 seperate rcmp detachments over the past 15 years surrey burnaby north vancouver and west shore detachments with everything from officers assulting people, harrassing people to one who used to frequent the club I worked security at and this sucker was selling drugs crystal,e, coke, ghb,, and when I witnessed him doing it and confronted him he showed me his RCMP badge and threatened my life I still threw him out and banned him from our club and he actually followed me around for a few days trying to intimidate me so i just kept driving to different police stations and going on and letting him see me do so he stopped eventually I called his detachment burnaby and crimestoppers and the attourney generals offfice but last I had heard nothing for him has changed he is still a cop on leave with pay and stilll selling drugs in m2m in vancouver out of room 22 to this day it was almost 3 yrs ago that I repeorterd it to 5 or 6 dif places and nothing as of yet has been done so ya I would say every canadian has a lot to be concerned about with the rcmp BIGTIME
