New to Calgary and Alberta

Hi,
We are relocating to Calgary,AB, and have never been there before, nor have family or friends to ask for information about the area.

We would appreciate any information about renting a place there, where to rent, good areas or bad areas to live in, as in every city...as well, any information about living there in Calgary would be greatly appreciated.

We are coming without a job , and are looking for a job there, If you happen to know specific websites or places to go to , please share them with us.

Welcome to Calgary!
It is different, some people like south, but some like north. the people likes south says that south is lower than north, it is warmer that north and it is not too windy. the people likes north says the communication is better than south because there are two more high way from north leading to downtown.And many Chinese like north due to T & T super markets. You can try to find the suitable community as you like.
Talking about finding job, you can try:

You can go to 855 (8 Street, 8 Avenue SW, 855, 5 or 6 floor). It is a government human resources office.You also can find many agents in downtown.
