Claude Richmond and his ministries

policies are not there to help

people anymore, their objective

is to get as many people off as possible.

They do not give a dam about anymore.

It's all in their best self-interests.

They are not going to Change.

God bless these unfortunate people

that have to deal with this Ministry.

They are truely disliked.

Policies that harm people rather than

bring good to people such as helping

people, are a form a abuse.

Welfare is not a career move. Although shamefully most think today it is, and why not the government and bleeding heart liberals have made it very easy to get.
No one should be on welfare for months on end, let alone a lifetime, then breed second generation bums.
It should be one time, give them a cheque, and a pair of work boots, or a ride to the nearest job, there is plenty out there, and always have been.
It is suppose to be a hand up, not a handout.
I have no use for welfare scum, and I have even less use for an government who steals tax dollars off of hard working people to support and pay for low life like this.
If they do not want to work, ship them out to Siberia.

If your name is Walklikeabird and got a needle sticking out of your arm they will pay. But if your like my neighbor who got cancer and needed surgery, 3 kids she cannot get a welfare check.

personally I am against welfare period. I work hard building a pension with health benefits and insurance yet everyone else feels they work for peanuts and no benefits. well screw them! survival of the fittest get a real job. or stop complaining.

Yes...you are right if you have a legit reason, or really be needy, or you are SOL.

My Mom years ago left my Dad, needed a hand up, did she get it, not without signing a paper saying that she would pay it back once she got working, she told them to go to hell. And never turned back.
I will not give to food banks or any welfare promoted "charity". I will give to the real poor, the ones in the third world countries. But they too have got to learn to do for themselves also. Same as here as there, it is a handup, not a permanent handout. If I help a third world family out, I expect results, not the other hand out.
Usually in most cases you do see results from these people, they work hard just to survive, so have more appreciation when they can get a chance at improvement, and by that I mean they do do something with the help.
In Canada and the US as I said it is a career move for most, so I do not have any sympathy for their 'plight'. These days in North America, for most Sympathy is spelt with a dollar sign, not an "S"!
As far as I am concerned they get a lot for doing nothing and most have not ever put into it, or put a hard days work in. They get free dental, free mecical, their kids get more freebies than ours do, and that is sending the wrong message, it is saying....that if you cannot do for yourself, in North American there is a chump that will do for you. There should be a vote by the people to see just how many want to continue to support able bodied men and women. How many girls are raised by welfare moms to go out and get pregnant, either to nail a innocent guy, or to get welfare benefits, and maybe for both. Believe me that oldest trick is still used to entrap a man. I have worked with the public for over 40 years in the hospitality industry and have seen it a lot especially when I bartendend. Welfare Wednesday is one of the busiest nights, for everyone right down to the drug dealer.
Two days later I would see them hauling their worthless asses to the food banks to feed the kids they forgot about.
Welfare needs to be done away with.
Luckyily for me, I will be retiring soon to the Caribbean and will take my monies with me, and will no longer be paying for this shit.

One check, and a pair of workbooks and a ticket to the nearest job, with all the work out there welfare is not necessary as a long term way of life.
It is the useless that use it as a career move. So that whine about it, or afraid of changes are just afraid they may have to work and function for a living instead of have others do it for them.

People on welfare are not necessarily "bums", they are down on their luck, or disabled or caring for a disabled child, or fighting some kind of emotional, physical or mental battle.

The Liberal government wants more money so politicians can enjoy tax dollar paid vacations and have nice fat pensions when they get booted out of office.

Maybe new welfare policies will entail handing out brooms to those denied welfare...

Someone needs to clean up the mess this government is creating with their "anti-poor" policies.

And welfare recipients breed more, and want more.
Most welfare are career ones, or second generation.

I don't care for welfare at all, or those on it, even as a temporary fix. I have started out with nothing, fck all, and I never asked anyone for a damn thing and certainly never lowered myself to welfare status, nor did I expect or want others to pay my way, it is their hard earned money. Not some lay abouts who does not have the brains God gave them to pick themselves up on their own.
Nothing is worth a damn thing if you did not acquire it yourself.
I now have a very comfortable life, with investments, saving, and moving whereever the work was, I have certificates pertaining to work to gain better pay, I have also got the education and training to better my lifestyle, and all on my own, and just learning and living life.
I can now travel many places,(stay home), buy out of Country, investment property and holiday property. I stay in the Caribbean 4 months of the year, because I now can. And did not ask for no handout, even when I was just 17 and starting out on my own.
So no I do not feel sorry for anyone who is on welfare long term, short term, or down and out.

Everyone saying that they don't care about people on welfare are pathetic. I'm glad that you are okay with leaving a starving baby or a pregnant woman out on the streets. I got pregnant when I was sixteen. Its been rough, and without welfare I don't know how we'd get by. I've seen times where my son would have been without diapers if it wasn't for charity. Its not something I'm proud of, but no one wants to hire someone who has nothing to start with. I agree that welfare is being abused, but some people need it and your acting like everything that has gone wrong in someones life is there fault. I can't sit there and listen to my son CRYING for food and say no , because we can't afford it. Thats pathetic.. I hope that someday when you die God has just as much mercy you have on others on you, because you deserve every bit of it !

I feel pity for anyone who has a poor opinion of others, for whatever reason. It is not our place to judge other,...there is no excuse for your type of ignorance harleyhoney, no one is any better than anyone else.

You are just another "hater" trying to pollute weak minds with your toxic thoughts.

Great post Shannon, even when others or I, posters debate with reason, and shut her down factually.
There she is the next day with the same drivel to someone else.
Her favorite line is:I've lived here, and there, so I know about all things.
The rest of us do not travel, and are unable to comprehend the environment around us, and to communicate it to other people somewhere else.

First let me say, I would never want an innocent child to go hungry or be uncared for.

Second, in answer to your statment "your acting like everything that's gone wrong in someone's life is their fault". Your kidding right? YOU chose to spread your legs without consideration for the consequences. YOU chose to keep your child knowing you weren't mature enough or secure enough to look after him properly. YOU chose to spend his welfare allottment for food and diapers on something else anytime you've come up short. YOU chose to go on welfare instead of toughing it out with pride by taking any job you could get and working your way up to something better. YOU CHOSE. No one else has made those decisions for you. No one else can be blamed for your current circumstances. And no one else can get you out of them. Just as the decisions you've made up till now have dictated your life so will the ones you make from here out.

Everyone makes mistakes. To err is human. To blame someone else for our mistakes and not learn from them in the process is just plain stupid.
