Millicom buys out Mobitel Tanzania
Luxemburg-based pan-African mobile company Millicom International Cellular has taken full control of its Tanzanian network operator MIC Tanzania , by buying out its local shareholders.

I (as a subscriber) just hope that TIGO in Tanzania will deliver, to subscribers'expectations: Extend the network capabilities, have more subscribers, lower tarriffs, and improve an ever-busy network at night because of free calls (at this time of the night, it is even hard to make an emmergency call!).

Tigo...you either remove the free-night calls or improve the network capacity. Why should i use tigo while i can't make calls from 2345hrs - 0600am? Its very hard and its a shame too ... i'll stop using tigo if there is no way to make calls from 2345 hrs. Be focused!!! |

I think MIC is cheatting u, The network is busy in such a way that you can't even make a call to another network, It is better they improve their capability to customers.

1. Guys, you better remove the night calls. Since you started it 15 of my friends have switched providers.
2. Does tiGO in Tanzania have a website? What's its address? The tiGO assistant/receptionist gave me the address as www.tigo.co.tz but it doesn't exist 3. Let me know how to access the net using tiGO. Does it work in Tanzania? |

I appriciate tiGO with the number of excitements, but yet still I don't find the website for tiGO. Even though tiGO has given the customers numbers of offers including free night call, but it has to extend its broadcastings to various areas including rular area. tiGO gives you more!!! I expect a lot from tiGO in coming future.

Tigo is one hell of a network!!! coz its the cheapest!! and free extra minutes minutes @ night!!!
The ONLY MAJOR DOWNSIDE of Tigo is that it doesnt have GPRS, MMS and DOESNT HAV A WEBSITE?!!! common Tigo?? a celluler company with no WEBSITE?? SHAMEEEEEEEEEEE and there used to be a free sms service from www.mybuzz.co.tz hope it brings this service again. |
