I beg to differ with you! I had a bankruptcy......chapter 13 which means I am paying it off! I had an Alltel account that was not behind and was in good standing. They Cancelled my account and started a new one with out advising me in advance and have tried to sue me for more than $400 in "early termination fees" ever since.....it is now more than 4 years and I still get notices that they are going to report me to the credit bureau or cut off my service ! Duh!!! the service was cut off with the bill paid in full 4 years ago and the $400 in early termination fees in protest. I have yet to receive an answer from anyone at Alltel to the many certifed letters sent to them and I will not pay the termination fees because I did not terminate the service......They did for no reason at all with an account that had a 0 balance at the time. Alltel is the absolute worst service for cell phones and when the last clerk I spoke with snickered and said "You can't get another phone while you are in bankruptcy" I told him to stick it where the sun don't shine went out and within the hour had 2 new phones with no deposit and I advised them I was in bankruptcy and they said "Sooooo?" 4 years with this company and not any complaints at all. I have more minutes than I can use at a lower price and the clerks are all fantastic if I need to call them.
