Something wrong here! Can we dispense with all these 'feel good' do nothing of significance projects?

Nuclear power is not expensive and is safe. How many decades has it been used and IS in use right now... world wide! Come on! Get serious!

At least there is some good from all the methane. I agree that Nuclear is cleaner and cheaper. It has been shown that if the average person lives to be 100 and they have nuclear energy from birth the amount of nuclear waste would fill a shoe box. What other engery source can do that? Solar has a lot of contaminents to just bring the system online and is way more expensive for the average consumer. Coal puts more radiation into the atmosphere then nuclear ever will. Wind well those darn birds can't figure out to stay away from blades and well, water the fish get held up in those ladders and have issues so.... may as well get the best bang for our buck...go nuclear.

I agree, but can you imagine if we recycled all the dead environmentalists how much more methane we could get? Hell! They already give off enough hot air to keep a large wind farm operating 365/24/7!

Love it! Many of those environmentalist are on the PG&E CARE/FERA Programs... disocunted power cost due to limited income. So, let's continue to punish those who actually earn a living.

These are not do nothing, feel good projects...the methane is being produced by virtue of our rotting garbage. The worst thing to be done is nothing. Methane must be flared-off to help prevent lots of nasty environmental problems: why not capture the otherwise wasted heat/energy?? I have been witness to several successful methane recovery projects at waste water treatment plants...this technology works, when carefully applied.

Al Gore sure can't handle being challenged when questioned about "Global Warming" <snicker>.

"Global Warming was going to cause the worse hurricanes in American history." Right!
