See a lawyer about getting it "expunged" meaning totally erased from the official record. The charge being dismissed means innocent and a company should not hold it against you. But sometimes they do.

You know everyone makes mistakes in their lives. Some of us get caught and others don't. That is the only real difference. Being a felon is a life sentence. What you don't know is that ANY crime punishable by a year or more in jail is considered a felony. THat blows. What about those who have learned their lesson and want to be better people??? I can understand not wanting to work next to a murderer but what if it was self defense? So you smoked some pot in your day should you be sentenced to a life of missery? Whatever happened to the punishment fitting the crime? Let me just say that I hope anyone who isn't a felon, never becomes one. You should know how hard and unfair it really is. Ask yourself one question: Do the current laws help the issues we have at all? How do you expect people not to go back to what they once were when every time they turn around another door shuts in their face. Honestly, I have learned that it is better not to judge people because one day you will be judged too.
. Thank you for posting this!!!

I have 25 yrs and millions of miles of exp. In 2007 i was faced with a terminally sick wife with no health ins and made a terrible mistake to try and take care of my family. I went to prison, lost my wife, and everything i ever worked for. I've been lucky enough to have landed a driving job that lasted 7mo's, but was let go for a student grad that is working for 9.00 hr! I was making 13.50hr and doing so many illegal things to keep the job! OVERWEIGHT,SHODDY EQIP,ECTbut still lost job. i am just as good as any other driver out there and just need chance to prove it. I am a clean, honest, hard working christian that wil make any company glad to have hired me. Any jobs, job leads, or constructive ideas would be greatly appreciated!!!! GOD BLESS AND HOPE TO HERE FROM SOMEONE

Daily Horoscope for June 1

Taurus

Some people are full of talk today and the trouble is that they don't know when to shut up. Who needs all the trivial details? Retro Venus is favoured in Gemini, so financial matters may resurface, and you may be inclined to change your point of view. Think long term, especially if you are tempted to form an important liaison, or partnership.
