I was a vedor for CR England, which means my services were needed by them to operate. I paid several visits to Salt Lake City and got to know several of the insiders, decision makers, VPs of this and that, etc. They are crooked. They are scam artists. The openly comment/brag about how they are able to make money from drivers that are losing everything. Making money is fine, as long as the drivers are making money as well. But, the executives at CRE are knowingly making huge profits while a majority of the drivers suffer. I ended my contract them and feel much better about myself for not having to deal with them. Although I am giving up $35-$40K in gross profit by not working with them, I am working with several other ethical trucking companies and the difference in operations is night and day. Again, CR England is crooked, stay away and move on to an ethical organization.

After schooling and training with CR England for almost 3 months, despite their push for early upgrade to lease any of their offered trucks, I went to work for an Independent Contractor as his 2nd seat team driver at 18 cents per truck mile (not just my own driven miles) but for only 2 weeks due to his foul mouth then went directly to the COMPANY that operates the truck of the Owner who's also an Independent Contractor and "tied up closely" with the COMPANY for a new rate of 40 cents if East Coast and 38 cents if elsewhere as solo company driver AND in the very truck I've most wanted, VOLVO 780, that's like the most RV I can get for now. Best of luck to all!

Whereas, at CR England, you'll first crawl at 25 cents per own driven mile as solo company driver then earn 1 cent per mile during each succeeding year, if lucky to last that long.

You come across as "victims" of the world and I'm sure this goes far beyond your experiences with trucking companies. Maybe if you take the time to go through your contracts and paperwork and what is expected of you as well as try your best to make your best impression on others, your lives just might be better. Also, how many of you put more commitment into your trashy tattoos and piercings, etc., looking like circus clowns and low lives than you do into what is really important in life? Just something to think about... I agree with you 100%

wow, what a bunch of loser"s and cry baby"s on here, in my opinion ,you get out of a job ,what you ,put in to it peroid.i think alot of you people on here whine way too much, your expectations are too high, if a company is that bad , they would not be in business, would they ???,it sound"s like you have an axe to grind, are there any real professional drivers ,out there ???? sound's like a bunch of wheel turner"s to me.im guessing most of the people on here, whining and complaining on here, are not very smart, know what you are reading, before signing, anything.use common sense,do your home work peroid....

I went to the CR England school in Burns Harbor, IN. Great instructors and good training. Went out with a phase I trainer. It was there I realized how it really works. My phase I trainer was competent but I have no doubt this guy was bi-polar. After 7 weeks on the road with him, he convinced me that I never wanted to be a trainer. I also realized that NO ONE at CR England truly respects drivers. Phase II, while the trainer was competent, he was suffering from mental conditions and he just built upon the reason I had for NEVER being a trainer. Both trainers let me do most of the driving and then when it was time for them to drive, I doubt if either of them exceeded 150 miles per day. After training I reluctantly leased a truck but told everyone there's no way in hell I will train. After three months of leasing and driving solo and making very little money I was offered a dedicated route with US Xpress, which would get me home weekly. I turned in my CRE lease and went to USX, did a week in orientation and was issued a peterbuilt truck and became a company driver with them. At first I was told that briefly, for a week or so, I would run from South Carolina to Maine, until the dedicated position came open. No big deal, till you drag a 53 foot trailer through NYC. But after eight weeks of being lied to, I gave them back their truck and told them to go piss up a rope. At this point I wonder if there's any company out there which can be trusted. Ofter I hear about "fair trade" coffee. We really need fair treatment for people who work hard to get a CDL and then are treated badly! The people at CR England treat drivers badly and openly show them disrespect. US Xpress is not as bad but they are still dishonest! No one should be subjected to this type of treatment.

Lol i went company and still got !@#$%ed in the @#$, i could hardly complete phase 2 training because my 4 different trainers kept quitting cre. My phase 1 trainer admitted he gets a $100.00 bonus if i sign a lease/slavery contract. and then i thought i could make a decent living on the relief and recovery fleet but my dm was givinging me 29 days (on average) hometime with really short recoveries at about 300-400 miles. And i wasnt like a lazy !@#$%$#@ either. To make a long story short FUCK YOU CRE, STUPID MORMON JEWS!!!!!!!!!
