Doug Stealpicker

I don't know why everyone picks on this guy that is owner and president of Arrow Trucking and is the new breed of trucking, perhaps the old school guys just don't get it and the new-bees just don't have a clue. I have read post after post of personal attacks against him that just don't add up. I think the old school guys fed him b.s. and he didn't know anything was wrong, that explains all the new brass. Arrow does have a board of directors that includes outside business brass making the decisive decisions so blaming one guy for bad decisions does not make any sense.The feds and tree hugger groups with the regs don't help trucking either not to mention the sue happy butt holes looking for a quick buck.Mr Stealpicker is doing a fine job running Arrow in the black and when they start doing bad expect to see some more new brass because we all know it's really their fault when the going gets tough. look at any company and realize that the head brass changes every few year's. don't pick on Douggie anymore.

Arrow has been good to me so far. All I expected was good training and an insight in the trucking business. I've learned alot from them. I may stay or may not; but I do have a choice. They pay me and do what they are supposed to do. They are always there for me. We do have a couple problems, but they are working them out. I am glad they gave me a chance with them. You have to work your way up in experience an knowledge in order to gain trust with an employer. Thank you arrow for giving me an opportunity to support my family.

First Mr Pielsticker is the owners son so he should have had some experience with us "old timers". Second a board of directors does not have very much power when the company is privately owned, their role is mainly as an advisory position and usually serve at the pleasure of the owner. Third why not pick on "dougie" after all he is the President. EVERYTHING in a company starts at the top and goes down, moral,pay and incentives. Although some ideas may come from middle management, they gain no traction until they get to the top, and then and only then will they be put into action.Fourth always remember experience COUNTS!! The "new" catchphrase of the day seems to be change is good, unfortunately that is not always true. Sometimes the old tried and true methods are still the best. Make a consistent profit per mile, invest in your equipment and people, practice sound financial policies and that formula will lead to success in business or personal interests. So in parting I say keep picking on "dougie" he's the President, if he doesn't like what he hears and reads he has the power to correct the problems.

Thanks for those words of encouragement brittany. Why yes I am jealous that I am NOT a member of the lucky sperm club, and that my father did not create a job for me!! So what does that have to do with anything here? Aparently you are so obtuse to grasp what these posts are about. They arte about creating change in a company that has all the potential to be a top tier leader in the industry instead of just another training company. OMG Girl,Take off the knee pads already! It will not get you anywhere in this company.I know of multiple people with over 25 years experience with Arrow that Douggie gave the boot too. Sadly, in this economy everybody in a company needs to make sacrifices and in cases like this, the top brass most likely didn't make any changes to their lifestyles. I imagine they were fund juggling for well more than a year and then it just got to the point of nothing left to juggle. But don't worry, I'm sure Santa has already stuffed the Pielstickers home and pockets with all sorts of goodies this year.

Yep, you're right about that! The Pigstickers filled their home and pockets, all right!(at the expense of the Arrow drivers left stranded with no fuel, and no way to get home.)

They have been fund juggling for quite a while now.
They just couldn't care less about anyone else but themselves.

I doubt if Brittany is still around now, but this post really made me laugh! He has done something "right", alright, its called being an expert thief, and criminal. And he IS going "further" in life, he's gonna be going all the way to prison. Then he will be bubba's bitch!

As a driver that lost his job because of "mr. pigsucker" I sure hope all you other people out there in la-la land will pay my bills. NOt only did I belive in a jackass, I will not get my last paycheck because he put that little amount in his pocket. May he and his family rot in hell
