My son was just screw AGAIN by GTS this time papers weren't filed. "Medical" he was reviewed and assigned a load I just posted bail from Douglas County Jail for a suspended license. Is this normal. I realize he should have followed up on the papers but just what does Tamara DO? He does his job shouldn't she do HERS?

You need to go threw the bankruptcy paperwork, it tells how Gainey paid Harvy Gainey and his son millions of dollars and paid close to a million more to other companies Harvy Gainey owns just before filling for bankruptcy and for Harvy's 2007 mercadies and his son's 2009 lamborgini and as well as Mr Osterhouse well over a million 21 days before filling.....there is much more

Yes the court is appointing an examiner to look into a number of these dealings. For those of you still working for GTS I would keep a close eye on this. The crap this guy was/is pulling and trying to pull is unbelievable. It will not pass muster and could very well lead to the demise of GTS. Now, some divisions may be sold off as part of the liquidation if in fact the waters have not been to muddied up that it is hard to tell what divisions may or may not be profitable. Keep a close eye on this people.

Gainey and their subsidiaries are still operating uninsured! They hit our truck several months ago and are now hiding behind this bankruptcy to keep from paying any claims as they say they are self insured. If you get hit by one of their trucks, you won't collect. Ace American Insurance won't pay, neither will Gainey. Their operating authority needs to be revoked and we are working on that. If anyone investigates this, they will see it is true. They totaled our trucking business and driving Lamborginis and Mercedes, and Ace American Insurance is guilty of fraud for filing false insurance information on a federal filing website. FMCSA.DOT.GOV Check it out.

Gainey claims to be self insured so is not paying insurance claims either, even though legally you have to be insured to operate commercial vehicles. Ace American is fraudulently filing insurance information on FMCSA.dot.gov . They will not pay a claim either. They totaled our business and have not paid a dime for damages. Can't they sell their Lamborgini, Mercedes, or dip into those millions? Better hope one of their trucks don't hit you. Call FMCSA and complain. The rest of us have to carry insurance.

My advise to you is to lodge Complaints ASAP with the federal agencies, DOT, FMCSA, and also with your state's Dept. of Insurance and with the Michigan Dept. of Insurance. Filing false federal papers and insurance fraud will put somebody's butt in jail. I'm an ex-agent--I know.
These crooks need to be stopped before more people are hurt.

I was treated fair while working for GTS for ten Years.(93-2003) Though you have to know how to play the game. That is exactly what these owners of private companies do today. It's a game of trying to keep your companies money, in your pocket!, to build you an empire. You do it by, having good credit to start with, resources, smart choices, paying your employee's market wages or just above, being of a kind/generous spirit, supporting your local city/schools to build your legacy, taking advantage of every legal grey area loophole available to you to minimize government tax payouts etc. Mr. Harvey Gainey has exceeded by employing only the finest of legal experts (lawyers). His company has provided some of the highest on-time services to his customers, using the newest, most practical equipment possible, for his drivers and customers. He started his company, by driving a trucking firm that had a union into the ground, and then buying it for himself. He works hard for his money, and deserves respect for providing many empoloyee's with a above standard wages of support for those who stay loyal working for him. If you were a jump around driver, and never stuck with the company through changes, then you lost out on a good wage. Mr. Gainey will aloft to his creator for any wrongs he may have done to people directly, just like you and me. But in the meantime, you have to respect him for knowning how to run a business up and down in a timely fashion for his own greater family benefit. He has played the business game very well. He has also the had to attend some furnerals for many dead drivers, who family's were amazed at his geniune concern for their well being after their loss. He has always stressed safety, while the message got deluted by many dispatchers, and service people. I found that I was always taken serious, becasue I was a company asset, and not a cry baby. I always communicated directly, and correctly with my dispatcher. If he could not satisfy my needs, there was never any problem going around him, right up to Mr. Gainey if need be. I never had to do that, I always realized as a driver that I was on the end of a long chain of orders to get service to the customer. I did that little extra whenm needed and they bent for me as I needed. I was a pleasure working for them, amnd I would do it again, in a heart beat, if it weren't for that exact problem. Good luck Mr. Gainey, getting your company back on track, or out of a bad situation, so you can retire to the last years of your life free from stresses of the business. May God's mercy be extented to you, should you be found written in the book of life. For it is goiung to be a different kind of love you will need to show in the new system that will be here on earth.

yeah, harvey is concerned about the drivers. Were you at the christmas party in atlanta dec 2000. Harvey and the missus were there and she asked the lord to pray for the trucks (not the drivers), yes the trucks. The man is a hypocrite.

She was, in her own way showing concern about the multitudes of fatal accidents the company was having at the time. You are just mis-applying her heartfelt graditude for all the drivers and family sacrafices they make for her family. Youshould be ashamed of yourself FTF. She is a very loving kind spirited women, concerned about the tragic losses of lives within her husbands company.

Is ole LCT-Lester Coggins Trucking still hauling palm trees/tropical flowers out of FL? I used to see those poor drivers unloading them plants at Home Depot in Northeast. You gotta like driving to NYC and Northeast if you haul them flowers+heavy ass palm trees.LCT used to be a good FL company when it was owned by its founder-Lester Coggins. Then Gainey takes over and the rest, bankruptcy eh is history.Praise the Lord and pass the ammo LOL:)

I was treated good with Gainey.
I think that Harvey has the best intentions.
AS with any large co. There is no way Harvey could
keep up with everything in person.
Now that things are going down hill,Can we, you,
blame him or his family for trying to salvage
part of whats left for their own before the vultures come.

yup! It is pure capitalism. Let's take good company run to the ground then we play Santa Claus buy for shit, build back on loans we can not pay, still as much as we can, than run to the ground again and cry to government for handout (well that comunism but we are afraid of using that word, aren't we). O by the way all of them are very good people, taking care of the emploees (only few for show and tell).
That how americans eat the shit and ask for more. In europe we just kill them, thats why before they do that, anybody makes shure the workers are protected.

I was a loyal Gainey Driver for 6 years, and damn proud to be one too, until I was hit head on by a drunk driver, it killed her and split my semi in two.
I am disabled for life and am going thru a life changing ordeal. I have had a Workers Comp Claim since 2005, it is now 2010 and my Lawyer says that Gainey's Lawyers are claiming poverty thru bankruptcy and CAN NOT PAY FOR MY NEXT OPERATION, which will only cost $8,000 dollars. Can you fricken' believe it??????$ 8,000 dollars on a Workers Comp claim and they won't pay!
I made more than $8,000 for them in one week running hot loads, illegal loads, what ever load that was loaded wrong ... I RAN IT!!!!!! I WILL NEVER WORK AGAIN FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE LET ALONE DRIVE A TRUCK and they won't pay the $8,000 dollars for an operation so I can breath normally again.
I had the pleasure of Meeting Mr. Harvey Gainey and his wife before and I thought he was the real deal and a GREAT MAN, I wonder if he knows the Lawyers he hired are fucking his drivers on Workers Comp Claims??
Any drivers out there in the same boat, this what my Lawyers are telling me ...." File a Claim In Federal Court NOW " In other words get in line while there is still a line!
I miss working for Gainey and the good friends I made there. I should have stayed in the front office in the KC terminal when they offered it to me.

Daily Horoscope for June 1

Gemini

You have so many things buzzing around inside your head that it's virtually impossible to keep track of them all. Do yourself a favor and try to work through things in their order of priority, otherwise you'll get really irritated with the way they spiral out of control. Don't get your wires crossed, as good news is coming later in the day, with either a financial or a romantic flavor.
