truck drivers are the worst 'tippers'!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Know why a pretty waitress never last at a truckstop? Truck drivers run them off, they tell dumb silly jokes, expect topnotch service,sometimes rude, and leave a lousy $1.00 tip. Some of the things they tell me that truckers say and do will make you afraid to eat at a truckstop ever again, because they do get even. People really hate truck drivers.

Tips depend on service not yakkin' with some local while your food is cold and your cup/glass is empty because the flies and cockroaches are competing for your gravy.
Pretty waitress in truckstop? Well talent deserves good tips not some part time lotlizard who wants a larger sum for sleeper leaping.

The four/wheelers and the RV's seem to get good service.

It is a very simple thing, I tip based on service, poor service poor tip. good service good tip, and any waitress that has been doing it long enough know it.

True, and most of them that serve me are usually prompt, curteous, and attentive.

Here's the main problem that waitresses tell me what they can't stand; When Truckers sit and occupy a table or counter seat for hours and hours smoking and drinking coffee and talking, they lose money when this happens when they leave a $1.00 tip, 5 or 6 different people could have sat down, If I happen to do this I tip double to make-up the lost as long as she doesn't act upset and treat me like a typical truck driver, It's her lucky night.
I usaually tip from $3.50 to $5.00 to $6.50.......Waitress that have been putting up with us for a lot of years like some of the ones at the Flyin J each pin they wear on their badges equals a year, I tip them $6.00 or $6.50....Now 'Connie' is my favorite at the Petro in Reddick Florida, she gets $10.50 to $15.00 depending how long I sit there.....She's great, Her and her husband own the knife store there!!!!!!
During the holidays everybody gets $20.00 bucks, the shower guy, the blue beacon boys, the waitresses, So you can see why they confide in me and I get good service, I don't act like a typical truck driver!!!!
A waitress once told me she was shocked when she found out I was a Truck Driver!!!!!

Truckers are usually underacheivers and slackers who can't help the way they were raised. I figure it's your own fault for exposing yourself to that bottom of the barrel demographic.

And don't start on me about "needing" truckers. The only thing I need is lobby for railroad infastructure to put you biscuit and gravey hounds out of business.

yeah I know, I'm ashamed to admit you think your a truck driver too.

I agree some drivers just sit at the counter for welfare coffee and leave a chumpchange tip.

All my tips are a write-off as part of a business meal expense!! I have all the receipts!!

I do not tip the Cashiers at the Casino's.

Good service and food at the TA in Commerce GA.

Maybe that pretty waitress should stay out of the cab!!!!!!!!!! I happened to be married to a trucker and he is none of the above----grow up girl, and leave the truck stops to the big girls.

No truck cab service,beeper oncall service, We can meet at the 'Marriott Residence Inn Suites!!!! I like the one in Knoxville TN!!

Waitress worked a 12hr shift from 6am to 6am and made $41.00 dollars in tips.......She said she thinks it has alot to do with banning smoking.
Drivers take it out on the employees.
I said some drivers just can't afford to tip well.

Should they tip at all??

again some one else out there trying to make the trucker look like an idiot i think we should shut down for a week and watch the people squirm
