Wierd. Last year we stayed in Santa Fe because it was cheaper. My job has me stuck in a craphole part of Texas for the next couple of months and will miss the festival this year. You guys sure have it good.

I don't stay in Albuquerque often, but when I do, I call Marty Chavez...

He always hooks me up with midget strippers and plenty of Wesson Oil.

Stay short my friend, stay short.

If SF hotel prices are considered the other end of spectrum then ABQ is not far behind. Checking prices at same hotel chains (Marriott Courtyard, Hilton, etc.) there is not much of a difference. Some SF rates are lower than their ABQ equivalents. Do some research and you'll get great rates!

I agree with Not buying it, I checked around with several hotels in both Albuquerque and Rio Rancho and the rates are no where near the $79.00 mentioned in the article. As a matter of fact, the lowest price I found was $88.00, and not someplace that I would really want to stay at either. So where these great prices are, I would like to know. And I was checking the rates during the week, not even for the weekends.

Even if you DO get lower rates at hotels this year- which ones? I don't see them!- the DEDUCTIBLE for the broken windows and stolen items from our vehicles, or the vehicles themselves, will more than wash out any "discounts".

I agree.

I have family coming in and rooms that were $69/night are running $129/night.

Not sure how that's "great rates."

Great rates nothing, look at the advertised rates on some of those hotels off I-25, they jacked up the prices like they do every year.

Rates might be down a little but they are still higher then normal.
