Port of LA, LAX displeased by labor pact

The heads of Los Angeles World Airports and the Port of Los Angeles said this week that they are upset with a labor pact recently struck between the City Council and the Coalition of LA City Unions that's supposed to save about $58 million between now and June 30.

The Union leaders can just call Pelosi and she will stealthly send them Billions more in "stimulus" borrowing from our children and grandchildren.

After all, it is far more crucial for Union members to get bigger pick ups than for our kids to have a chance.

Furloughs are GREAT!! Just think a few extra hours off. The pay is so fabulous that if it were by the hour, people would already opt for time off rather than the money. I love furloughs. Best thing to happen in California Since statehood. Gives people more leisure time (which was predicted by Toffler 30 years ago).

Look, this whole deal was secretly worked out between the coalition of soviet city unions and the council. Get their members to vote for a 4.4% reduction in pay, which would pay for the raises at water and power. Simple, actually, when you think about it. And, this is the second time that this has happened.
