This sentence tells me everything I need to know...gee, seems like yesterday that conservative voices were smothering the country in support of a war in Iraq, eviscerating free speech and starting a war with no end and look where that got us...seems like it was everywhere...in the churches, on the news etc...and yet, there's suddenly a "war on conservative speech?"

The dark ages lasted One Thousand, One hundred years. It effected almost all of Europe.

I did, are you for real? there were more people killed within the last 100 years by atheists and dictators who did not believe in God than in any other time in history. Stalin? you know what he did? In that 1100 year period there were not even 1/4 as many killed as were killed by atheist in the last 100 years, that includes, spanish inquisition, the orthodox/catholic wars in europe. You could add them all together and it still would not equal the brutality that man has done to each other in the last 100 or so years by atheists and communism and those who DONT believe in God.

Hitler not an atheist as stated. Stalin was probably insane ..hello cult of personality. Even if we concede that Hitler, Stalin were atheists, they did not kill in the name of Atheism. They were brutal dictators, who killed to get political power. Throughout history you will not find one person killed because they were not atheists. The same cannot be said for christianity/catholicism.

While we sit here debating this point, at this very moment millions of people are still dying in Africa and South America as a result of the religious dogma of the roman catholic church through AIDS that using a condom is a SIN for which you will spend an eternity in hell.

So there you have it. Between today and yesterday we can conclude that the catholic church are the biggest mass murderers on the planet.
