I have recently purchased Panasonic KX-TG5776 5.86 GHz cordless telephone with talking Caller ID feature. I am using Fintel UT 0018 DTMF to FSK converter to get the caller ID and picture ID working. However, this does not read the caller's name. Can anybody give me the solution for this problem'

Breaks my heart that the Inidans can't read the numbers for calls made from the U.S. and then sell the information... there should be another law..
No American Caller ID's should be given to foreigners getting calls from the U.S.
They sell them..
When information to American companies
have been sourced out to India to answer your call...then TS...for the ID to show up...
We keep selling America out...good work Radio Shack...keep up the good work...
Let India get the ID's from Pakistan and visa versa...since they love each other..
Wow your name says it all!! When are we Americans going to learn to be humble? We want everything cheap hence 90+% goods are MADE IN CHINA, the outsourcing of other jobs to India and so on. And your post certainly reflects your level of intellect. The problem is not generically with seeing numbers for calls from US on Caller ID in India. The issue at hand is with the equipment taken from US or EU to India. So sorry to disappoint you by breaking this news to you but get a grip on yourself and I am sure htis forum can live without anyone SARCASTIC making any snyde comments here.

Today, I bought the same model, UST0018 DTMF to FSK converter from same shop :'C A Electronics' No 27, SP Road, Bangalore. Works good - although when I called this BSNL phone (Uniden) from my airtel mobile, the first digit does not appear on the Uniden phone. Anyone knows any reason why?
