Wheeling-Pitt will get bought out, alright, and then they'll face a complete shutdown and the dismantling of equipment (with much of it sent overseas). Good move, union! ;-p

Won't happen, at least with the Russians, they badly want to be a dominant player in North America and to the best of my knowledge, they've moved nothing overseas they've acquired here to date. You're much better off with them than with US Steel which would gladly dismantle an old mill rather than pour money into it like the Russians do.

Im surprised the former ISG didnt buy out Wheeling-Pitt. I guess if the Russians are willing to make it work its one less company then that dot head Lakshmi Mittal can buy out,shut down,and relocate overseas.

Well, it is down to 2 now. Severstal or Essar. My money is on Essar winning WPSC. They have had a presence at WP for the last 3 weeks doing Due Diligence.
