Actions speak louder than words. This action belies the words that Chu puts out about support of nuclear power. Not only does it destroy our future domestic fuel supply, it is a warning shot for anybody considering nuclear consturction.

and its stupid too.

the hippies want everyoen to stop burning coal, but every time someone tries to make advancements in nuclear power generation, they slap it down.

News flash people, we can't live on wind and solar alone. You need to leave either nuclear or coal alone, or we're going to have brown-outs and black-outs all over.
Soon it will be that if your street address is odd, you can only use electricity on odd days of the month, and if it's even, you can only use it on even days of the month. And all because the power companies reached their cap on coal emmissions and couldn't get a loan guarentee to start building a nuclear plant.

Daily Horoscope for December 31

Virgo

Someone is being headstrong and wilful, and absolutely determined to do what they want. Mercury is retrograde and it's a Full Moon in Cancer with a lunar eclipse all happening tonight! This could lead to some heated discussions and possibly even rows, as you argue the toss back and forth. It might be best to accept that there's very little possibility of reaching an agreement rather than to get locked in a stubborn battle of wills. Besides, you don't want anything to spoil what promises to be a very enjoyable New Year's Eve. Have fun!
