That's what happens when money & power control medical care, instead of doctors.
I worked in military medicine for 20+ years. You'd think free medical care would lead to all sorts of abuses, but I found just the opposite to be true. When doctors get paid the same regardless of how many patients they see or what procedures they perform, you find that doing what is best for the patient is the primary motivation. Of course there are abuses in any system, but taking the profit motive out of healthcare results in better care and less waste of resources than with for-profit systems.
Btw, Hagman lost a large chunk of his new liver to a bacterial infection, but at least he's said he won't accept another transplant even if he could get approved.
At age 80, with a bonus 15 years under his belt, Hagman should never complain.

Libs need to pray on bended knee for a good month of June. Besides, no need to recount. obama is toast well beyond the need for one.
Obama's family members are easy to pick out. They don't care what he does, he is family....even with their unemployment at over 20%, and the fact he hasn't been in a black community since his election. He is still family and that is no matter what we prove, or others prove, they will close their eyes to it. This group is no longer Americans.........they are African Americans ridding a dead horse off the cliff.

<quoted text>I am not so sure libs will weep that much or conservatives should be in heaven if Obama goes down after the June report. That is because if you take away the compaign etch a sketch picture and gt to the real guy, Romney is just as liberal if not moreso than Obama. The old saying that there is another word for a Massachusetts Republican and that word is Democrat is true this time too. Sure there will be an R behind his name but that is about as conservative as you can expect.
Well, I'm not a rocket scientist, but we adding over a trillion in debt every year. obama needs GDP at 4%+ on the lowest end to make any of his assumptions on spending. It ain't there. Debt to GDP is one to one. None of this is obama's fault, it's been decades in the making. But the house is crumbling on his watch. People spending an entire working lifetime in hopes of living off a Gov't entitlement are in trouble. Young people today are paying into a system that will be greatly crippled, they may not get any.

What the libs need is the current regime to keep putting lipstick on the pig so the problem gets passed along. The libs better pray that Romney does not have a change of heart. Or decide to do something to fix the spending problem. Or continue to dip in the sacred "trust fund" for other purposes. Libs better pray they have a known quantity in the WH

Of course that was all partisan, when did I ever say it wasn't?

My point is that the only reason you conservatives want to use the U-6 numbers now is for the same partisan politics. It's not like you're concerned about accuracy, otherwise you'd have been whining about the Bush administration using the very same U-3 numbers.

If it was okay under Bush, then you can't complain when Obama does the same thing.

Considering the latest GOP plan is to add $3 trillion to the national debt in 10 years (as opposed to $6 trillion for the Dems), it doesn't look like the "spending crap" is ending any time soon.

The only real difference is the Dems want to spend that money on heathcare and other social programs to help all Americans, while the GOP wants to eleminate Medicare and spend all the money on the military instead.

You sound more desperate every day. I have no doubt whatsoever Obama will be reelected because I know just how far his supporters are willing to go to make sure that happens.

I'll be voting twice this year- once in Maine and once in Michigan.

99.9% of Americans will use Medicare when they turn 65, including union members, congressmen, and all other govt employess. That is if the GOP doesn't destroy it first.

Who do you think paid for Cheney's $1 million heart transplant?
