Evergreen Solar panel production moving to China

Evergreen Solar, which opened its giant photovoltaic panels manufacturing plant last year with $23 millions in state grants, is moving the panel assembly jobs there to China.

I believe this was bound to happen no matter what. The state was giving out free (well not to taxpayers) money. They knew all along they were going to go offshore. But why not take the money to give their executives big $$$ and bonuses? Shame on Bacon Hill for allowing our money to be gamed.

So thoughtfull of Feldt to publish our losing jobs in the news paper before informing his employees.

wonder if the managers managers of evergreen solar are getting the big severance packages,.... temps don't believe the rumor of becoming direct good sources say that is not going to happen and that the nine month time frame is just a lie as soon as the contracts are fulfilled say good by pane fab hello unemployment there is really no santa or bonus for temps it is just a way of getting everyone to fulfill the contracts by end of the quarter so work hard stay diligent and have a good time being unemployed the caf is open just to impress the big buyers why aren't the media checking all of this out maybe someone has them in their pocket

I don't know about all the Evergreen managers, but all manufacturing employees got a (10% pay cut) while feldt got a (7 million dollar bonus.)
