People without the intellectual ability to debate resort to simplistic rants and inflammatory lies used to incite, these many posers do nothing to encourage debate. Freedom of speech does not give a person the right to intentionally spew lies and innuendo. If these individuals I speak of were not hiding behind the anonymity of the internet they would possibly be sued or at the very least end up with a bloody nose.

Sadly TOPIX does little to monitor and enforce a few simple rules of decorum that would allow for a better discussion of the topic at hand. It would improve the site and the people that visit and post on the forums tremendously if they did.

The newspaper companies are doing very badly because they print bird cage liner. But I had no idea they were doing this badly.

Most of the posts on Topix are in esoteric forums like Human Sexuality, and Knitting, and Homosexuality, and Quit Smoking and, Hoeing the Garden, ad infinitum, etcetera......... Less than 1% of Topix Posts are politically generated. Even Top Stories gets very few crazies.
