I had the opportunity to work under David as he was Wal-mart's store manager in Tuscaloosa, Al. He was a gentle giant. He had an open door policy and was always willing to help his employees. I last spoke with him around 2003 in hopes that he would come to Houston and speak at a function for Shell Oil Company. His schedule would not allow him to make the trip, but was quite pleased that I thought enough of him to make contact.David you will be missed.
