a staff of two full-time and six part-time employees. OK Stu Hurd, 8 new jobs for Bennington to add to your re-election campaign mail. That lessens the negative impact of you reign a little bit. 8 new jobs means 8 less jobs lost with you at the helm.

It's likely they'll dwindle down their number of employees as time goes on. Most chain stores open with a lot of employees, but as people quit they stop replacing them. Hopefully these 8 jobs stay put! |

A great financial opportunity for you LMZ with your extensive retail background! |

FINALLY!!! A store in this area with clothing that will actually FIT me!( Im a size 3) Fashion Bug removed their Juniors section...
J.C. Penneys has my size, but in the Juniors section. Im a woman in my early 40's who doesnt want to dress like a teenager, but I have no choice unless I want to drive an hour to the mall! Contrary to popular belief, not every woman in Vermont is Fat! And what a relief....not another "Skilled Nursing facility" aka nursing home... The last thing that Bennington needs is another place to store its elderly! Im looking forward to shopping at Maurices.... The way the economys headed lately, If Im lucky I may be able to afford a pair of socks! |
|||
Nursing homes are not just for elderly. These facilities also provide rehab services for people of all ages recovering from surgery who may need physical therapy or are not quite ready to be at home alone but not in need of hospitalization. I agree shopping for clothing is limited for women 35-50. The styles are eithr too young or too old. What we don't need in Bennington is another auto parts store,pizza place or car dealer. |

Wow finally a store that can compete with K-Mart and Wal-Mart for the plus size divisions. Let me make it clear that woman are beautiful no matter what size they are, but one can only see so many NASCAR, and Tweety Bird night shirts around Bennington. Ok I'm lying, big women, those a cookie under 400lbs are working in our skilled nursing facilities. I am hoping that this new store at least has pocket tee shirts so they can store their smokes, and pajama pants to match the stylish Looney Toons ensembles they create.

Try the Salvation Army or Goodwill stores! Many styles and sizes for lots less money! Some of the stuff is even brand new! Money goes to a good cause not to make the rich richer!

Try shopping the Broc Store on Main Street first, at least that money stays here. Money spent at the Salvation Army or Goodwill leave the state. Not saying the money spent in one of those two stores doesn't do any good, it does. But the money spent at the Broc Store stays here to help those in need of the help right here in our own backyard. http://www.broc.org/thrift.php |

Just plain smart Alex! Something you know nothing about!
P.S. Whats wrong with a hand me down car and second hand clothing? You are always looking down your nose at people and do it so well! |

Zippy, Zippy, Zippy, he's not looking down at people. Just you, and you don't qualify as people. |

Oh how wrong you are my little fashion princess. I donate to Goodwill 2 to 3 times a year along with a very generous monetary donation to Project Bundle Up and Toys for Tots. I simply find it amusing that you shop at these fine stores when you could simply wait for one of your relatives to pass away and then raid their closet. |
