Sardines are a better way to go and you don't have to worry about E Coli and sick and diseased meat that has been inspected in the US

McDonald's has never had a problem with sick or diseased meat...

And how can you justify sardines of all things as being a suitable replacement?

These people didn't know cinnamon rolls were high in calories?? That's why Americans are so fat. Ignorance....it's so disgusting how uninformed people are and worse, they don't care.
Gluttony, Ignorance and Apathy, how lovely.

I think it's good for restaurants to have to provide this info upon request. I don't know that it's necessary to post it, but I certainly don't mind it. What I like is that they gave the little guys, the small privately owned restaurants a pass on this one. They are the ones who clearly would have been the most negatively impacted by this, much like the smoking ban issue, so I'm glad to see they were taken into consideration here.

I have a hard time believing that anyone paying attention to calorie counts is eating at McDonalds in the first place. It may shock some people into realizing that they eat more calories in one meal there than many of us eat in a day.

Is there a punchline?
*Symbol clash and drum cap* ba dump bing! Mac Donalds is giving into the system! Go to Carls Jr. While Mac Donalds lowers their calorie count, Carls Jr, comes out with the double bacon cheeseburger with portabella mushrooms, and a pound of sphagetti on top!

Long Live the Cheeseburger!

Then believe this: Recently there was a story on CNN about a man who lost weight by eating only at McDonalds. It was a lot of weight as I recall, but he also never ate a Bic Mac there just the heathly choices on the menu.

That's because it gave him a bad case of diarrhea and he shat it quicker than he could eat it.

Anyone would lose weight eating only McDonalds...it probably works as a laxative...or is that Taco Bell??
Seriously, consuming food loaded with ring/tapeworms is a solid bet for rapid weight loss.

Maybe there are now. I wouldn't know because I haven't been in one in at least 20 years. The last time was on a road trip and everyone else wanted to eat there so I had to order a big mac with no meat.

This has nothing to do with public health and everything to do with anti-capitalism. If it had to do with public health then EVERY business would be included rather than just the "big chains". Who doesn't yet know that fast food isn't the healthiest thing you can eat? Let people make their own choices and live (or not) with them. It's not the government's job to babysit everyone. Take some personal responsibility. Oops, sorry. Personal responsibility has been outlawed in this country.

Only 540 calories in a Big Mac? I thought it was more like 1000 or something. Still it doesn't matter, last time I ate at McD's three years ago I was so sick with heartburn and indigestion I haven't eaten there since. Same with Taco Bell a bit later. I must admit though I still get a big burger once in a while from Wendy's, Culvers, or A&W. Haven't gotten sick at any of those yet, but you would have to be nuts or starving to eat TWO burgers there.
